You are not wrong with being at the back of the pack when it comes to lines in the sand... it is quite the workout. Big Red, also has a big run-up... some of the others are quite technical as you are basically from a stop.

Bloody terrific effort Brendon! Hats off and a big round of applause. Your positive attitude paid dividends towards your accomplishments, and it also makes viewing your channel that much more enjoyable. I'm a fan of the raw footage. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. You and Shadower really ought to adventure together more often. You both compliment each others riding and vlogging. It's refreshing to see such good camaraderie. Heart felt commiserations to Mark. He put in a huge effort and was so very close! Keep up the hard work!

Really surprised by the traffic, so much more then when i did it. Also how easy you made it up big red, i had one go and didn't make it so i need to go back some time..... I was surprised when i found a dry creek bed in the desert last year but it looked even more surprising with water in it... Also the greenery looked cool at 30:47 It was funny that the instagram model has a private account hahaha .It's good to see my stickers are still kickin at 23:27 . I would've like to see a bit more of what happened to mark's bike ( craig will probably have a little more ). A shame he didn't make it to big red but congrats to the rest of you. You all were pretty pumped about it, so good. Cheers 4 sharing sir.

I'd like to see Mark attempt it on a Hornet next time. :-p I couldn't imagine attempting any of that soft stuff sitting down. What's the risk of meeting other bikes or even worse, 4x4's at the crest of a dune coming the other way? Great to see some water and greenery out there! Geez! A bit of traffic waiting to go up Big Red! Awesome to see my sticker being way more adventurous than me. HaHa! Fantastic effort by all of you. Shame about Mark's bike, but at least he was able to still ride it home.

Your excellent video captured me at 26:07 on a 690 heading west to Steep Pt WA on the GAR. When I saw you on that 1190 I thought you were crazy. (Or Superman) From memory there was another 1x90 out there doing the West East run. I have a 1090 too and have dropped it a few times. No fun picking it up. I also did a West East run in 2015. Your new challenge is to do the East West run on the 1190. Then I will rate you higher than Toby Price !!! Well done Nerb

It seemed that the torque of the 1190 really helped get to the top of the dunes even when you didn't have that much momentum , i struggled on the DRZ it would just bog down before i made it to the top. Maybe it has to do with the wider tyre too. I would've thought being a heavier bike it would bog down easier , maybe it a combination of both. I probably should've asked if you got bogged at any stage? Massive effort anyway, much respect. Cheers
@Nerb15 жыл бұрын
I never got bogged. The big motor made sure the rear wheel never slowed down. That and momentum. I was really conscious of not getting too slow.
