do you come up with the ideas for your dummy’s by being inspired by what goes on around you if so I studied a couple of cultures that do similar artistic practices like that like painters musicians sometimes even cooks

I can't imagine the time in designing, engineering and creating this dummy with such amazing movements to bring it to life with the talent of a skilled ventriloquist and Jeff is by far one of the best to ever preform. Just amazing.

That's the beauty. He designed his dummies and uses them so well that you get the same sort of expression without the complications! Walter has eyebrows and mouth Peanut only has mouth, and an arm Jose only has a mouth Bubba j has one eye and a mouth. I believe achmed has the most actions, with eyes, eyebrows and mouth I haven't seen enough of Url to recall out the top of my head But you won't notice that they're not fully articulated when you watch his shows.

When I was very young (about 8) I saw Jeff and Peanut on Tv at a store My mother and I were shopping at. I was hooked. I am 38 now and am still a huge fan. Thank you for being a great source of happiness and humor.

I marvel at the unbelievable craftsmanship that it took to make Ollie. When I was in 4th grade (spring 1972) a old magician (who looked like a graying Ronald Colman) came to do a show at my grade school. He pulled me and my BF in from recess to be his stooges for an afternoon show. Other than his standard magic, he had a ventriloquist dummy and used it for part of his act. He was an excellent performer, but the highlight for me was when he showed me the inner workings of the head mechanics in the dummy later behind the scenes. They were as intricate and as slick as an all black saxophone. So complexly crafted that I had a hard time wrapping my head around what did what! Fascinating stuff!!
