Well, you love your realistic Planet Coaster parks, so let's do another one. Yes, SERIES 5!!! Welcome to Grosvenor Gardens: A completely legitimate par inspired by Gardaland in Italy, while still being a cross between Cedar Point, Thorpe Park, Dorney Park, Carowinds and Energylandia.
In the ninth episode it is time to crack open the RMC and add in a topper track wooden coaster - similar to Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City and Lightning Rod at Dollywood. Snaking through the trees through airtime hills and overbanked turns, this coaster sits perfectly within a medieval wooden village where the architecture is inspired by the game Ostriv.

Using realism I’ve learnt from my experience of working for a real-life theme park company and over 4000 hours of Planet Coaster play time. Using true-to-life principles, we walk through each stage of the build reasons why things are built in a certain way- as well as some top tips on how these were achieved too by pulling them apart for you to see. As the project progresses, I’ll release the park for you to enjoy, so please make sure you Subscribe to stay in touch! I'm the two dollars twenty of Planet Coaster apparently...
What if Cedar Fair opened a park in the UK? Would it look like Alton Towers? Thorpe Park? Or would it take on the form of more American parks like Cedar Point? Canada's Wonderland? Or would it be more themed like DollyWood, Legoland, Busch Gardens or SeaWorld? Oh, and don't forget Six Flags too! What about China? I hear Flying Kiss theme park in China is a good one too! Well, one thing is for sure, realistic Planet Coaster parks don't come much more realistic than this and let's be honest, other Planet Coaster Let's Play or Planet Coaster gameplay videos won't give you the real reasons why things are as they are. Where do you place rides, rollercoasters, shops, paths, plazas, car parks, entrance areas, tickets, turnstiles, maintenance sheds and so on? I'll tell you where as we up the Planet Coaster Realism game! This is more than just a Planet Coaster Tutorial; this is a Planet Coaster best park ever!' Just so you know, my realistic series uses Planet Coaster Sandbox. It's time to get Planet Coaster real! Episodes with rollercoasters also have rollercoaster povs too. Don't worry if you're stuck for Planet Coaster Entrance Ideas - this episode will sort you out. This is how to start a park. AND if you like the build styles of Themepark worldwide, bro nation, silvarret, maskedbandit, mike sheet, deladysigner and rudi rudikmental then you might just like this! We have very similar planet coaster building style. I wish I'd get noticed by Mr Beast haha

I support the Nemesis +1 movement, if they knocked down the coaster then rebuilt an exact clone in Dark Forest with all new track you would surely count it as a +1. So why not count a retrack?
@acllno
@acllno 2 жыл бұрын
I think that the environment and what you see is a big part of the experience so rebuilding Nemesis completely new in Dark Forest is a new credit but as it will be in the exact same place, I won't count it as a new credit. That's just my opinion though
@naylindavies
@naylindavies 2 жыл бұрын
i’m not a fan of the nemesis retrack solely because we’re losing the roar, it’s still my favourite coaster (have it ranked over mako and montu), also does that mean that by chachologic since only the track between the end of the lift hill and start of the brake run is being replaced that it’s only about 4/5th’s of a new credit
@Nerdchacho
@Nerdchacho 2 жыл бұрын
But.. assuming we ARE losing the roar... (inferno still roars and that is filled), it means that they are then permitted to make more noise in the area.. and you know what that means..........
@naylindavies
@naylindavies 2 жыл бұрын
@@Nerdchacho still unless they don’t fill the track we’ll never get the same sound again, inferno is a lot quieter. however we do get another 30 or so years of nemesis so it’s a trade off i’m willing to make. i hope to god merlin don’t buy new trains with vest restraints, we don’t need them, we don’t want them, the normal restraints are near perfect

Mr Chacho, another fantastic episode. You are easily the best builder in this game, as someone who is more into the realistic side of things this is hands down my favourite series of yours so far. I need to ask do you have any tips on what pc specs to go for? I am currently limited to what I can do as I play on console but am looking into getting a pc to start playing this game properly. Thanks in advance and I look forward to the next one.
@Nerdchacho
@Nerdchacho 2 жыл бұрын
Ahh thanks!! I do like to try.. I'm finding that this series is playing down the realism in favour of decoration.. Raygate for example was all about the on-show jank and this one is more decoration and theme. It is fun! Hmmm... Specs... So... If you're building just for PlanCo then you're going to want a CPU with the fastest single core you can get because that is how PlanCo works - but remember efficiency too.. Yes the 9900KS is technically faster all round than the 12900K - the latter is WAY more efficient so actually uses it's speed better than the former.. If you're looking for outside PlanCo then you want as many cores performing as efficiently as you can. So for the first, the latest i9 is where your money is at: The 12900K. If you want more than PlanCo then one of the Ryzen's will do you (but I don't like them, so, I'm out.. haha). Pair this with a 3080, 3070 or 3090 and you're away.. Arguable as to which is best at the moment - they all seem to perform well. If budget is your factor, because these systems are VERY expensive, then look at the 8th and 9th gen i7 and i9's pared with a 20xx GPU instead. You'll still get an awesome performance on an average park.. but the newer gen's will of course be better..
@joeh6679
@joeh6679 2 жыл бұрын
@@Nerdchacho Thank you so much for all the advice on pc specs, really appreciate it. Time to get building lol! And although it may not be as “janky” in your face realistic as Raygate was, this is in my opinion a far better mix, I’m loving all the theming as it is still done in a realistic way without being too in your face that it becomes a fantasy build. Your experience in theme park design is really shining through and your getting better with every park, I can’t wait to see what’s next.

@@Nerdchacho The peak of your first drop is a little too pointy, it may cause too much negative g-force, you could go in at a shallower angle and have a quicker drop with a smoother angle decent. Also the drop could be steeper as Outlaw Run is actually 81°. But the layout for the ride itself is brilliant. Very nice terrain use and element selection.

@Nerdchacho
@Nerdchacho 2 жыл бұрын
I've seen some console creators make smooth ones with the 4m method. It is really time consuming on console though, so maybe try doing it with the 8m method and double the angles you would have used with the 4.. so instead of 11.25 degrees go for 22.5 instead.. do the same path you would have, just using 8 not 4m.. if that makes sense?
