Great interview! I've met and chatted with James several times at various moots, and I've heard him gives talks on his research, and listened to him on various Podcasts he does, and taken classes he taught. If he has been trying to model his behavior on Tolkien characters like Samwise, Faramir, and Cirdan, then he is totally successful. He's one of the smartest, kindest, most gracious, interesting, and truly humble people I've ever met (and I'm old so I've met a lot of people)! Thanks for having him on your show. We need more people like James in the world!
