don't you just love when they make the "ugly girl" have glasses and braces while the "pretty girl" is blonde and wears a lot of makeup...oh and the unpopular boy has glasses but the popular one doesn't-we love to see more stereotypes :D oh and just because someone has glasses, braces, or both and is good at school doesn't mean they're a nerd. it doesn't mean they like school either-I'm smart but I hate school like A LOT and a "nerd" is by definition is someone who likes school and that is exclusive from looks. and of course the netflix glowup makes her get rid of her glasses. acne and braces can come and go but not everyone can get or use contacts. so thanks for telling me to get rid of my glasses and (soon to be) braces (I also don't have bad acne) so that I can be "pretty" to society because that's more important than being smart. I'll make sure to get on to that glowup soon because heaven forbid I have bad eyesight, crooked teeth, and am too afraid to use contacts (I am thinking about contacts but only because my eyes are so bad, the optometrist says I probably need them) edit: if some of you keep saying, "it's just a video," then, I guess you don't believe that they can "change lives" as dhar mann says or something and these things can be extremely hurtful to people, not just me
@alicebroadhead86992 жыл бұрын
this!!! i hate stereotypes so much. the way that anna became "pretty" at the end is what pissed me off. she was beautiful as was, but she had to be 'stereotypically' pretty. i hate growing up in this generation. i think of myself as funny, kind and intelligent, but because I'm not 'pretty' in this generation, I'm bullied and looked down on. dhar mann videos are just badly portraying issues like this in society.

Not because of the lesson but because of the fact that I’ve been called a nerd all through my years of school and have had braces for 2 years and still need them for 1.5 more (i got them off halfway between treatment cuz my new molers were growing in) and now apparently if i “focus on myself” i WONT NEED BRACES ANYMORE??? Ah yess i love when i start to love myself and my teeth just straighten out magically. I hated this so much. That stereotype really sucks, back in the day I had braces and glasses and the only reason people didn't make fun of me is that I started working out in young years and was like 1.95m and 100kg at like 16, all the others were simply bullied all day long, but it was always nice to lend a helping hand.

Made an epilogue! A few weeks pass, and the school year progresses. Anna and Nelson are seen together, clearly happy and enjoying their time as a couple. They walk down the school corridor hand in hand, sharing smiles and laughter. Mark's reputation takes a hit, and he learns a valuable lesson about the consequences of his actions. His popularity with girls dwindles, and he's no longer the center of attention in the school. In the school library, Anna is seen helping Tricia, Bianca, and other girls with their studies. She has become a supportive and respected figure, offering her knowledge and helping her peers excel academically. Amber, though initially hurt, eventually moves on and finds happiness with someone else. She's shown having a great time with a new guy who appreciates her for who she is. The short film ends on a positive note, demonstrating that people like Anna, who are genuine and kind, ultimately find happiness and success, while those who manipulate and take advantage of others often face the consequences of their actions.
