+Everyday Geek She started out as kind of a joke character. Silly powers, and can beat literally anyone in the Marvel universe. Galactus, Thanos, Wolverine, etc. However, in the last couple years, they started taking her more seriously as a character. She is a character (one of the best IMHO) in the Marvel Heroes game. She was given her own series that has some of the same flavor as the Harley Quinn series (with less violence - her solutions often are more clever than just beating up the bad guys). And she's in one of the Avengers titles.

Duuuuude, Squirrel Girl is not a little known character. She's not in the movies or on TV yet (there are plans for her to be in an animated series now), but her comic series and books are selling really well and are second only to Ms. Marvel in length of waiting lists in my library system.

I just wish the shirt had more color. I like love all the color that her costume and just the comic in general has and I would have wanted that on the shirt and at least Kamala Khan, Gwenpool, Kamala Khan, Wolverine from the recent comics, or Captain America from the Spider-Gwen comics because it's Falcons daughter.

I'm one of the ones on the side of "didn't like it". I'd never even heard of Squirrel Girl. I checked Wiki and it turns out she's been around since 1992. I stopped reading comics in 1998, so I don't know how I missed her. Maybe she was so far under the radar that I didn't take notice or just forgot...which is actually more likely.

Yessss glad I spoiled myself :D That pop is super cute! And I love they included two minis in the box, to cover a wide range of characters. And thinking they went with the final t-shirt design because it was a Woman of Power box and some dudes were grumbling over that, so they went with a more gender-neutral t-shirt. (you can still wear it even it if has pink on it, it's just a color!)

We know the pattern we got the exact same things, 2 mystery minis, Pop with Tiny pop, Antman box has the same loot as Women of power and Avengers has the same loot as Captain America Civil War !!! I LOVED THIS BOX!!! Squirrel Girl is one of my faves! Love the current series. I think the mystery minis should've had maybe like 2 other choices (spider Gwen and Thor). But regardless loved this box!!! Even though so many people hated it lol. Great review you 2! :)

I thought this was a good box. The Squirrel Girl POP was great BUT not a fan of bobble headed POPs. Also the tail didn't seem to be flush at the attachment site on mine. The tiny squirrel kinda made up for it.

I would've loved a classic Elektra pop instead, squirrel girl completely threw me off as the pop and I wasn't too excited to see her in the box, but oh well. It is a cool concept to include characters that don't have much popularity or they're not well know but look at the Morbius pop from the villains box, not many people were too happy about it and you can buy one on eBay for like less than $20. Cool box overall, just not a huge fan of the pop. Excited for spiderman tho!

gotta agree about the pop bobble heads, I think it makes them look so tacky ! theres only really one shop in my town that sells pops and they only ever have about 4 different ones in. they had anger from inside out who was pretty cool but I wanted kylo ren but when I looked at him he was a bobble head :( I'm at a convention this weekend though so hoping to pick one up :)

Personally make me mad that's the exclusive Funko because it's so obscure and random. Also glad I skipped this box, as I was worried they'd include some strange Funko. Great review though and glad that exclusive makes some fans happy. So wanted an Elektra Funko, as she's the most relevant female as of late, but whatever.

Yeah they're all in good condition, I haven't had any problems so far (and that's over 8 boxes). I've had the pin break out of the clear bag a couple of times but its not lost since it just rocks around in the top gap of the box. The cardboard is a strong quality material so its unlikely you'll get a bad box
