Jackie, I think the $10 for the kit is actually pretty good and cheap, considering how much it actually is to purchase your own resin, and fimo pieces and miniatures. Even if you make everything yourself, this is the best way for beginners to get the amazing experience that is resin craft

@@RubeusRuby For a one off craft it is expensive, if you spend the same amount on pencils and colouring books, or wool and needles etc they can be reused over and over again. This will keep kids amused for an hour at most then nothing else to do with it.

OMG, I just realized the brand Sun-whatever is referring to the fact you have to use the sun to cure the resin. Sun-baked donuts. I literally thought 'you can't sun-bake donuts' 💡. I feel really silly having just realized this. Bravo, designers. Clever branding and design.

In the US, the diner set is $10 and the cafe set is $6. (At least in the store I got them!) I bought the diner set twice and had a lot of fun. I bought the cafe set once because I was hoping for the cereal, but I got donuts. So far from everything I've seen from the cafe set, it is more basic and less fun than the diner set, which is probably the reason for the price difference. I'll stick to the diner one, even if it is slightly more expensive.

I’ve only seen the diner set in Canada and it was $15😩 now that I’ve seen more of the cafe set I don’t think I’d spend that on it, as much as I want the bubble tea, but $6 US seems decent. At first I thought the diner was a bit boring but I’ve been seeing people’s finished ones in my miniature group and I’ve changed my mind, they’re so cute! I kinda wish I could just buy them knowing that they are though😂

Jackie. You need to warm the resin up before you open it. Let the bottle sit in warm water for a little bit. Then it will pour way easier. And you will get more out of the package 😊

Yes this!! My daughter and I use a small thermos with hot water, soak the resin container for about 30 seconds and it comes out amazing!!

Usually I get bored when a KZbinr opens the same products in multiple videos, even if there’s _some_ variety. However, I am _just_ as obsessed with these as Jackie is! Mystery item? Fun! It’s a craft? Very fun! The craft involves resin? Super fun! You make miniature desserts/beverages?! AHHH! SOO MUCH FUN!! (Not to mention entirely too adorable!) I don’t think that I could possibly get sick of these, as long as Jackie continues to get a variety of different items. (So, of course she opened up the last of the balls that she had in this video, that’s just how things tend to go for me. LOL.)

Hi Jackie. I have bought some of these kits and have found that placing the resin bottle in some warm water for a bit helps soften the resin to the point where you can get more of the resin out of the bottles. Hope this helps.

I worked in a warehouse and we put those plastic wraps on the products. The plastic is put over the item and then ran through an oven (for lack of better words). The plastic shrinks down and forms around the product. Even though they are a pain to rip open, those plastics are actually pretty good and well done. The quality control on those plastics is really good and you'd know right away if it was poor quality or if it was done wrong.

My two favorite bobas are strawberry and vanilla almond. I completely understand about the inconsistency of strawberries. I love strawberries when they are good, but one bad one can put me off for a long while. I once had the most amazing strawberry ever, it was purchased straight from a farm. It tasted like what you hope Starburst would taste like. It was sweet, a bit sour (not too much), super juicy and just amazing. I began looking for more like it in the same batch and couldn’t find any. I have not found another amazing strawberry like that since 😢

I just got three of these!! I got the peanut butter banana toast ( I changed it to a sandwich with some slices on the side ) the s’more parfait, and the strawberry Nutella toast, it was SO fun and watching your videos on these fuelled me to get them lol! The resin did indeed stink. Very potent.

OMG Jackie! Have you tried Cinnamon Toast Crunch Minis cereal? They are teeny tiny little orbs of cinnamon toast crunchy goodness. I know it sounds ridiculous, but somehow the different ration of cinnamon sugar to cereal in the minis is just ... chef's kiss. If you can get your hands on some, I HIGHLY recommend it.👍👍👍

I walked into Walmart, saw they actually had these in stock (series 1) but couldn’t bring myself to spend $15+tax on it. I know you’re Canadian but I’m assuming you’re saying $10 US because I’m in Ontario. I love them, I’m obsessed, I desire to have one strongly but like wow the price hurts my soul especially with the mystery aspect, what if get one of the less nice ones (like the lemonade that came out cloudy). I also really want the series 2 that has the chance of bubble tea, so maybe I’ll be tempted if I ever come across them but I am disappointed they removed the little display stand part. I know mystery balls are really big right now but I wish they just sold the kits to make the specific food without the mystery for us crafty adults that want a specific one😂

The “mystery” is part of the fun…until you get a double. I bought quite a few of the cafe ones and got mostly drinks-and actually got FOUR of one of the drinks! Zero donuts, zero fruits salads. It’s been pretty disappointing. ☹️

Tbh you actually got me to buy some of these, I had never even heard of them until your videos. I had a crappy week this week and needed a pick me up, and these kits definitely did it! I got two from the diner series and three from the café. A heads up for Amerigrains, the café series is $6.99 at Target (at least near me) while Walmart is charging closer to $10 per kit, for both types. Also, while the basic instructions are great, you should definitely improvise and work in layers. If you're having trouble getting the resin out of the little bottles, another tip is to put them in warm/hot water before opening & using. It warms up the resin and makes it flow better.

I'm totally obsessed with these - and over time I got pretty good at knowing what's inside the ball by shaking it and listening to the rattling. The donuts and fruit salads are super easy to hear: donuts are loud and heavy and fruit salads have he strongest rattling of them all.

This series made me actually grab these mini verses for myself recently! We found some at Party City (I live in the US btw and I don’t know what other places in the US carry them 😅) and they were only $10 so my mom and I got one each and made them when we got home. I got the vanilla donuts and she got the berry refresher! I absolutely want to get more of them cause they’re the best and (personally for me) most accurate mini items, you get to make them yourself, and there’s actually a reason to get duplicates cause then you can make your own custom creations!

Yay another video of my favorite miniatures, I'm glad she's still making more of these. The rainbow cereal box is super cute! And those drinks and donuts made want to get some now, but atleast 1 out of 2 was able to have the donut hole show instead of being drowned in icing lol Btw Jackie I wanted to notify you that there are these type of fidgets called Magmen, I believe if you look it up it will pop up, and from my knowledge I've currently only seen them on Amazon for 10 a pack. One thing that Jackie didn’t mention is that the bottles leak I made these and when I got home the resin was all over the display case so if you want to keep the containers Seal it shut just warning you love your content❤

How did it leak? Usually I use all the resin they give once I open it. And you're supposed to cure it (harden it) with the uv light and that turns the liquid to a solid. I'm sorry you had issues with the kits. I'd be upset I'd I made something so cute and it got ruined.
