Or you could just walk forward while zooming out. Haha That’s how it works, you just move the camera while zooming in the opposite direction. Do it smoothly and you have a dolly zoom. Try it! Just slide your phone/camera across your desk towards an object while smoothly zooming in the opposite direction, if you get it right the effect will be super cool. Once you understand the trick, you can start scaling up and doing full size shots. I recommend sliding a tripod or selfie stick on a skateboard for smooth movement.
