Alex, some primaries you could use to complement your Hammershots and Doublestrikes could include a modded Slingfire, a modded and painted Buzz Bee Sentinel, or a modified Lawbringer. If modified, all of them could match your gunslinger theme and would certainly be great assets on the battlefield.

And yet against a single zombie he still got tagged I feel like that just made Walcom's point which was that the Hammershot is cool but is it really all that effective? No and you dont need to pretend it is just to have a reason to use it.

It's plenty effective if you aren't stingy with your darts. He got the zombie with the second shot but it was already too late. He basically expected the first dart to hit. He forgot the first rule of zombie hunting: Double Tap.

Rule #1 Cardio, Rule #2 Double tap. The hammershots real issue is you simply cant fire it quick enough for it to make a difference at close range if you miss the first shot. It still looks great though.
