The one improvement I could think of for the Stryfe is to make two battery trays. One on each side that each hold 2 AA batteries. The reason behind this is so that the weight of the batteries is balanced, making an almost perfect blaster slightly more comfortable to use.

The recon mkII was probably my first mag fed blaster. I had it since I was a child and one day it primed and wouldn't discharge. Well a tip to anyone else that has this problem: take off the stock, hold it in your hand and whack the top of it. It literally fixed the problem.

The Blaster Stock can be fired while attached to your blaster if it has a low enough top, such as a Stryfe. Fun way to feint people out if they think you are out of ammo!

I would definitely use the ion fire as a pistol, because although it doesn't shoot as fast as everything else, it fires a lot farther that the secondaries or even primaries such as: modulus ecs 10 demolisher Ghost ops evader 10/10 recommendation (as a pistol)

Feel like noting some stuff: The Stryfe recently got an upgrade. If you buy it now, it has a green stripe on the left side and a black battery door. Amazon has a Demolisher you can buy by itself, with the original Demolisher stock. There’s now a Recon MKIII. It’s basically just a Recon MKII but with green accenting instead of that weird orange. It comes with a Regulator stock with green accenting, a green shield, and a proximity barrel.

I still have a Modulus ECS-10 since maybe 6 years, only thing I changed on it is the stock, which I also bent (plastic don’t like pressure at all xD) and replaced it with a Retaliator stock, which feels pretty good with it, and I’m actually happy that you say it’s similar to a Stryfe since I didn’t even know how good it was then and that I’m technically in the meta with this blaster :D

Fun fact: the tri-strike was my first blaster. I got it at like 5 or somethin and it was super big for me! If I held it straight up from the handle, the barrel would go like 9 inches above my head

11:30 Nah Coop try the original Modulus barrel attachment (from the ECS-10) with the flash supressor from the spec ops expansion kit on the end of it. Looks sick and you can add a grip and it's in a decent position. Edit also 13:45 add the barrel break or ion fire dart holder on the stock.

only reason i would put the ecs-10 over the stryfe is that its got more internal shell space for mods, more native rails for all the first party attachments you would need and feels like a proper rifle platform from the get go. the internal shell space also means no larger battery doors, it can hold far larger batteries and can be modified within its own line to take whatever ammo you need. second is mediator. its a fantastic drum using blaster with its side loading magwell and it again takes first party attachments like a champ. i run mine with a tri strike barrel and white raider stock as a light infantry rifle or with a chrono barrel if the event doesnt need mega. third being the regulator because of select fire as coop mentioned but its such a comfortable blaster to hold just in general once you get use to the magwell placement. i run mine with either the tri strike missile stock or its own stock. last point being made is i actually picked blasters not reskinned into the line from other places but blasters native to the modulus line because the reskins were ways to get what we already knew were good blasters into more hands, the native line blasters were the innovations intended within that line. we know the demo and stryfe are great and the longstrike got the update it needed but these aren't "modulus" blasters in the most logical sense of the word.

The Modulus ECS-10 remains one of my favorite blasters of all time, probably because it was my first flywheel blaster. The tacticoolness helps too though. Also, these days, you can buy Modulus blasters without any of the accessories for only $12, which is just ridiculously cheap for a flywheel blaster.

I disagree with the night vision scope. Here's why: It absolutely doesn't help you see in the dark, but what it does do with the normal cam makes it a very special attachment. With all nerf scope, they're this crappy plastic "crosshair" scope that doesn't even magnify. However, the night vision scope zooms in to a max of 5x. The camera quality is not enough to really see that far, but if you can make out those pixels and identify it as a target, it's pretty darn effective. It also has mid ranges of 1.5x, 2x, 3x, and 4x. I understand that the whole selling point of the blaster is that it can do night vision, but if you're a nerfer and want a functional scope with out having to buy a real optic and a picatinny mount, this can be great for a lot of situations. I find it most useful on a longstrike in my opinion.

The original Modulus always looked the best to me. I never got it because I do not buy battery powered blasters. For me they are for casual fun around the house and worrying about batteries takes that fun away.

When it comes to nerf, I have an Evader as my flywheel primary, and for springer-only games I use a tri-strike with the retaliator attachments (the stock actually fits me nicely) and a bare retaliator as my secondary. I am considering upgrading the spring in my tri-strike and painting it so that the retaliator attachments actually match the colors of the blaster

I have a ecs 10, 25 round drum mag, big scope, flashlight, vertical grip, stock with a gun built into it, sniper barrel addon, and a laser. Yet the only problem with the gun is its range So id say overall, this build is made for house warfare
