The Nerf N-Strike Elite RapidStrike CS-18 is a lightweight blaster that gives kids rapid-strike firepower. The blaster's acceleration trigger powers up the motor for super-fast automatic firing. This blaster comes with 18 darts, and the see-through clip holds all 18 at once. This blaster can shoot the darts up to 75 feet. The CS-18 also features an adjustable stock.

There's a guy on here that range tests all the nerf guns. His name is blurred shadows or something. Straight line this gun will give you like 50-60ft but if you angle for max distance you can probably get 75.

It does go to 75 feet (at max) but it will probably go 50 to 65 feet usually.

i have this gun and believe me, it doesn't shoot 75 feet. It shoots about 20-30 feet at max

All you need to do to get these to fire great, is SIMPLE. You need to do is modify the lid of the battery tray (it detaches) and wire in a 7.2 volt NiMh Radio Controlled Car battery. THAT'S IT. You could even just wire in the 7.2 battery connectors by twisting the wire around the spring in the Inside front of gun and throw shrink wrap around the springs. 7.2 is not enough to trip thermistors and it will be VERY reliable....And (That's how I think they should of performed right out of the box) And no cooking motors! You could always do two Trustfires in adapters though too, I guess.....But the Nimh battery is 1600mh compared the the 600 of a typical Trustfire....so they last forever. This would be what you'd call a *Super Stock.*

I am sorry you are about to receive a reply to a 4 year old comment but I just had to say thank you for confirming my immediate thoughts after locating this rifle in my garage and just looking up the review to see if it was a POS. with this simple mod I plan on messing up someone's weekend. About to DESTROY everyone, LOL its the Wife, son and my son friend both 12 vs Me "The old Man" and my Baby Girl age 4. Made sure their team only received single shot guns while I grabbed this rifle, the Vulcan and 2 Kronos. Game Over hahahahaha

@@FoamFlingingHS The Hyperfire has worse performance in terms of range and velocity. The only thing that the Hyperfire has better performance is it's rate of fire. The Hyperfire also has better accuracy but if you use chili darts in a rapidstrike, then they would perform about the same in terms of accuarcy.
