I had a Retaliator and it was an amazing rifle, I remember it hardly ever jamming and would always get the job done. I don’t know why I ever got rid of it. I recently picked up a Deltatrooper and while it is still good it dosen’t seem to have the reliability the older rifle had. I still like it though and it is my go to rifle.

to actually find out, I fired 200 separate darts out of my retaliator at various speeds. The only time any darts broke were when either I fired it to fast and didn't fully prime, or if they weren't loaded into the magazine properly.

I think the retaliator is the better option for the ones who like to mod (me included) because the retaliator is one of nerf's best tactical weapons out there, you have four options of handling it, many tactical rails and if you really have to have slam fire and pump action you could mod it. But for the average person, the DT may be the better option 'cause of price and Slam/Pump included in the stock version. (Subjectively, I personally also like the R' s design a bit better)

Pros and cons: Retaliator: Better range performance. Comes with a really good stock and a comfortable grip to hold on to improving your aim slightly. Front barrel being able to hold attachments up and below making it super tactical. Has a 12 magazine overall comfortable and easy to move around whilst being able to fire a decent amount of bullets. Also comes with variety. For example. You are able to turn it into a pistol with a slightly larger magazine. Or a UMP-45 type of gun. Simple tactical and practicable, and awesome looking. Cons: May Jam from time to time causing huge problems in nerf wars. Back stock uncomfortable and small having no use for it. Accuracy isn't the best (This can depend on the bullets from time to time.) and not very easy to aim with. Spam fire can lead to Jams as well And is not as fast as other spam fires. Delta trooper Pros: Has a really useful and fast spam fire and it is easy to learn quickly. Looks very cool especially with the stock and the barrel. 12 magazine not too big and really easy to move around whilst being able to unleash an avalanche of bullets. Without spam fire it is still slightly faster than most nerf guns. Accuracy is a bit better than a lot of guns. Same as the retaliator as variety. Like a pistol, Or a UMP - 45. Cons: Same problem as retaliator, Very uncomfortable back stock. The front barrel cannot hold a bottom attachment making it a bit harder to aim and use. Looks very ugly without the attachments. Small handle big problem for average sized people. Please reply your opinions Delta trooper or Retaliator? I personally like delta trooper but I still think retaliator is slightly better than the delta trooper. Again this is all my opinion and also reply with your own or some pros or cons I probably missed!

Nice vid. I actually would prefer a shorter stock. I’m going for a PDW form factor. I run the Retaliatory with the shorter barrel extension from the ECS-10, makes it nice and compact. Id prefer the Delta Trooper stock, but cut in half. My biggest complaint with this is theres only a top rail on the slide. My optic comes loose with every cycle. Will probably put some double sided tape and leave it more or less permanent. I got the Retaliator brand new for $8 on clearance at Walmart.

For the accuracy test I think you should hold it still on a brace, shoot it at a wall, and mark where it shot. Human error was a huge part in the test you used. Overall a nice informative video though!
