Fastest-firing is a weird claim for Hasbro to make at 7 darts per second considering the fact that the Perses says 8 rounds per second right on the box. Even if you're only counting dart blasters does no one remember the magstrike? (12-14 darts per second according to the nerf wiki)

Magstrike is different, because it depends on the buyer due to having to pump it. Flywheel and pump are different, so I think they meant flywheel, which is MUCH more easier to use.

Aesthetically the "Speed" looks like a full-auto "Amp". The Minecraft bow is intriguing. Personally, the Thunderbow is probably my favorite bow-style blaster, it's just way too much fun.

The Thunderbow is absolutely still king, I prefer it to actual string powered blasters (I do love the Dude Perfect bow however) because even if it's not a true bow, it feels closer to my recurves than a lot of other ones. Also, if you get the rhythm down, you can do some hilarious dual wielding with 2 Thunderbows and it always turns heads 😂

Hasbro really needs to look into double-stack with Ultra. It's one of the few things Ultra could plausibly do that standard elite and short darts can't do well. And even cooler if they could do it as true double-stack and not double-stack-single-feed.

The more I look at the Viper Strike, the more I like it. This is a blaster designed for the people who really liked Dinosquad and wanted more blasters with big dumb reptile heads on the front. Just looking at 2022 blasters, the Tetrad is far uglier. Ultra magazines should have been double stacked from day 1. The moment I saw the Pharaoh, I facepalmed. Hasbro had fixed the biggest problem with double stack foam dart mags then refused to innovate further. The Ultra 2 is the only Ultra blaster that's actually found a use for the new dart design and, as the community quickly proved, the mechanism worked perfectly fine with traditional darts after minor tweaks anyway.

The compact SMG actually looks pretty good with a lot less of the awkward lines and stuff of other Fortnite blasters. Sand off the logos (Unless you're a fan of Fortnite and appreciate that kind of thing) and paint it up and you could actually get a pretty decent looking blaster.

@@stevenbobbybills I believe the lines are supposed to wraps for the gun (like the XM4 in COD cold war), but the reason the colors are odd and it looks weird are not from Fortnite. Fortnite has guns that are practically just real guns. But Hasbro makes them tapered and cartoonish so a kid doesn't get shot by a police officer holding it.

There's not really a big tie between fire rate and accuracy, that's mostly down to darts. You might be thinking of power, since faster rates can destroy the power of the shots.

Just today I finally got my hands on the Mega XL Double Crusher. This is my first experience with the new ammo type, and I have to say; I freakin love it. Horrible inaccuracy aside, the big ‘thunk’ that the darts make on impact is hilarious and the fact that they are so easy to retrieve helps remedy my big issue with foam flinging as a whole, which is the cost of darts. On that topic; the ammo, in my opinion, is pretty reasonably priced. Ten shots is almost more than I can carry comfortably on my person without rigging up a dump pouch or 40mm pouches. But for backyard play this line seems like a perfect logical progression and I am really hoping to see more MXL blasters from Hasbro this year. Also; the deco is excellent and this is the first official Nerf branded blaster I’ve bought in roughly 3 years that actually felt like it had that ‘premium’ feeling that we often associate with Hasbro’s blasters. They have something good here, I hope they don’t abandon it.

Trying to double stack foam with foam doesn’t work well at all, they get squished and don’t stay in place so it jams. Would be super cool if u could figure it out, but it hasn’t gone well for past attempts just cuz of how foam is

This probably isn't the place to mention it, but I am lazy. Something that may be worth taking a look at is the "k2 sniper" on ali express. The price is high for a never heard of it no name blaster, but the fact its a Rival Takedown with a hopper for rival or hyper ammo... thought it'd be worth putting on your radar if it wasn't already.
