hey, I don’t have the resources to do this, but I have an idea, where you use this sort of design but instead of making it asymmetrical, it’s symmetrical and fairly thin compared to a normal elite drum. then, you can use this in a tommy gun build.

i would say maybe add string to the follower wich comes out the end so you can pull the follower b ack as loading so it doesn't squish

I know I'm very late to comment, but what if you add a slot to the length of the back piece and add a nub to the follower to manually guide it externally? Also, the follower may work better with rounded edges. Love your work bro! Your knockout kits are amazing!

Might have posted this but to prevent the follower gumming up have you considered a semi-oblong follower to compliment the curvature of the magazine?

To help guide the follower would it be possible to make a hole in the top of the magazine shell itself in the model and put a small stick on the follower to be able to pull it back for easier loading? (I don’t have a 3D printer so I don’t know much)

I would guess adding some sort of job to move the pusher down would help with the loading issue right?

I would just use a 10 mm bearing at the bottom of the follower on the outer side bottom corner.

You know, I got tired of waiting for someone to develop this, that had just decided to grab a 25 dart drum, gut it, then put the shell on the band saw(that I don't have at the moment?) and the drum's center section out so that it would fit in the halfdart mag adapter. Then trim everything else accordingly. It's far more work than 3D printing the pieces required to make one this way. If I were to print one of these, I think I would use a pre-weakened spring from an original Nerf mag. Great work the video brother! Thank You so much for sharing this with rest of us. I've been outta commission for a while, but I'm getting back to the hobby my son's and I love.😇🤓🤠😎 Oh hey, by the way, do you happen to know if there's a MEGA 1/2 Dart Version of this thing.
