@@justajolt Sorry for an off topic question, but do you think I should mod my hyperfire with 2 imr's? And I also am looking to mod my stampede, and I see most people are using lipos because of higher current. I don't want to spend a ton of money on a lipo system, so is it a good idea to use 2 3000mah nimh 7.2v rc batteries in series to give me 14.4 volts? I will be adding a 7kg spring and possibly metal gears, I just want to know if I should save my money or suck it up and get lipos.

@@kaverixp8562 2 x 3.7v LiMn IMRs would be fine, and the Hyperfire will also comfortably work with 3 in my experience. LiFe batteries such as coolook are only 3.2v, so I'd recommend minimum of 3 for any tangible benefit. 14500 batteries are an easy, low effort drop in mod, which is why I like them! Your nimh batteries would be fine, but might require a re-wire. One of them alone would probably run the blaster just fine! Two may be on the edge of the stock motor and thermistor's tolerances. The thermistors trip after some use with 4IMRs, and I imagine that 2 x 7.2 would be near that threshold too, so consider a rewire to if you want to use both. It might also be worth replacing the stock 2s motors in that case as well, but not with just one. Remember that there's a motor in the belt feeder too. I've never messed with that, so you'd need to look into what sort of motor that is if using two in series. If you've already got the gear, I wouldn't worry about spending on Lipos, unless you're planning on using them for more blasters ^_^

Should I get a 7kg spring or would that be too much on stock gears? And what kind of fps would I be expecting with a 7kg spring and 14.4v?

Yup deploy love, that can only take place in the shed, at night, with the lights out, with a scope, and bipod for stability and may take a little while for results because of elite and ultra accuracy
