@@michaelsimmons1430 I don't think they're the same at all. I mean there are similarities, sure, that's how the "Teen Titans of Earthrealm" (shout out HGT) were designed. Cassie is conceptually half Sonya and half Johnny, Takeda was half Kenshi half Scorpion, and Jacqui I believe is, conceptually, half Jax half Sonya. Kung Jin was obviously his own thing though. In MK11 Jacqui is like "Jax in theory" to the power of five. No projectile capability at all which makes a big difference. Relies on High attacks to close the distance (except in Upgraded). Has big combo potential even in her base moveset as opposed to in her variations. I think she's very different from Jax - she's pure bulldog pressure rushdown as opposed to Jax who doesn't have quite as much pressure but is more comfortable at a distance. Idk I'm a fan of Jacqui in general but I'm also a contrarian especially with the MK fan base so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I want to see how the people complaining about Upgraded Jacqui actually use her. My experience with her is that it takes both a decent amount of execution to her use her well - not like Fujin but still, that variation takes a lot more precision than anyone else I've played in the base roster - as well as experience because throwing out jumps willynilly without knowing the exact distance you want for that moment is going to get you anti aired and full comboed on the regular. I'm not an Upgraded main or even a Jacqui main (Kollector all the way) but imo, anyone who says she's braindead is missing a few braincells themselves. People seem to be complaining mainly because they're facing people who are good with her and they don't know how to defend against her because Upgraded *is* a unique playstyle in MK11. Here's some tips: you know all those dedicated antiair moves that you don't see people use much? Those are kryptonite to Upgraded. Sonya's raw Air Control, for example, even Kollector's Up Mace can come in handy with a read. Keep her at a distance, bait a Bionic Bounce and use an anti air. EZPZ. Actually, the best counter I've seen against Upgraded so far is v1 Spawn with his up gunfire move. Use him well, and she literally is not getting in at all without some great mindgames by her. V1 Spawn's not a great variation otherwise but it's paper to Jacqui's rock, at least if you're good with Spawn's base moveset and you know how to defend against Jacqui's base moveset.

Listen in mkx everyone was pretty good so a "broken" character only was a little better, in mk11 however every character is trash compared to Jacqui beside joker but he still loses most of the time, also geras is not hard to play against, hes 50/50s are reactable, hes mid has a gap, big hitbox, the only reason hes even used is because hes grab and damage
