So many ppl complaining I want to say thank you for this. It has been so hard to find Scholo group as a mage as every group has one takes forever. I was experimenting a day before you posted this video how to solo Scholo main Ras W. so again thank you and here is my input what I found. - I died first couple of times at the door what I founded out is that the Poison Ghouls are not a problem at all. If I see them at the door what I do is I clear the entire bridge the 4x mobs and the blink from the top side where the 2 ghouls are. That way I hit the left corner of the door the poison does not touch me and I pass straight thru. - The issues I have is when you see the small white skeleton guarding the door or the Tall skinny zombie those two tend to follow me thru the door and if they follow me in 90% scenarios I die I survived only once, so when I see them I use the reset. - I don't do the full run because for me it is not worth it as I wanted to focus mainly on Ras W. how my run looks like is killing Ras W. Killing the zombie pack and Lorekeeper. Jump down and kill the 4x mages they are super easy and I got an epic gun from them. This runs lasts about 20min so I do x3 in a hour. Much more fun than running ZF I great drops from the bosses a lot of scourge stones, Dark runes, Skin of shadows etc... Most noticeable drops where the chests for frost dmg from Ras which dropped after 10kills, Flask of Power and epic gun from skeletons. - To summarise its not a gold farm spot its more to get the items you need, have fun and also get mats that you need later on like Scourge Stones, Skin of Shadow. - Also the best spec to use for me is Ele mage but I go to Ice Barrier its mandatory and then in fire most important Stun, Burn, Flame Strike 1 point Pyro 1point and then 3 points into mana regen on critical. I burn thru all super fast and the bosses also. I use this build in general for AOE farm but it works perfect in scholo. 0 points into blizzard don't use it cause I got tiered of using it rather 3 points into chill as you can slow them with COC to infinity

This is a 3 hour solo? According to your clock in game you start at 1:30 and finish at 4:26 ish! Cool you can do it but so not practical.

Just couple usefull macros 1. Spammable blink+invise pot (I enable addons before the blink, I think it helps. After logout - disable all addons, !) /cast Blink /use Invisibility Potion 2. /logout

Great video! 1 problem though, this is impossible to do as a gnome. I’ve tried over and over probably 20x now and the doctor always resets because of 1 failed LOS even with a jump fire blast or rank 1 frost bolt or scorch he always resets. You can’t start a missile on him when he’s running away from you as a gnome. So you just oom doing it the way I described. Even with lots , dark runes, and evocate.

@Taiwon it's not about the speed it's about the sheer amount of broken farms a Mage can do that other classes, even Hunters, can't do. This is just another feather in their hat.

mage is the only class in vanilla with rogues that have a perfect class identity and design from the get go, that is why they are both the best classes in very different area. Mage is a bit higher up in its own tier because its a ranged class that happens to get 80% of the aoe spells in the game, which is why they are able to do their busted farm, also the only aoe damage spells that have guaranteed cc attached to them (snare). Rogues are the king of 1V1 PvP and mages are the king of everything else (arguably also very good in 1V1 PvP). All hybrid classes had a flawed unfinished design that Blizzard tried to fix throughout expansions, basically wrath is when all classes went on the same level of class identity and design as mages had in vanilla.
