Kami confound does not work on second smoke charge. Only when you have both of your smoke screen charges on cooldown.

I just went back to skye and got a 39kill game, I think she still plays well, map and group depending.

Nope. What would be healthy is let Skye be like she is right now if they can't let her being good & balanced because I honestly don't care about the community talking smack about her because they don't want to learn how to play against good Skyes, she's fine and I rather play Skye than overpowered and actually unskilled Andro or Vatu with infinite dashes, able to get out with ease whenever he wants, not requiring any skill on positionment unlike Skye because of that, doing as much burst as Skye on squishies and the former one being able to roof camp lol.

Skye was never strong, just playable at her peak a couple months ago. The real issue is, and will always be until it gets adressed, aim assist. Now base stealth detection is 40 units, was 15 units pre-nerf and 45 units with illuminate 2

Since Skye never deserved nerfs I am glad it got reversed ; it didn't feel that bad but it just made Skye feel iffy and it sucks when they make a character feel bad (not necessarily become bad but feeling bad), because of nerfs when the character does not deserve it. Will always be funny to see them buffing characters like Lian but saying Skye is doing too good when the only scenario I see Skye being OP is with legal aimbot aka aim assist which is not the fault of the character in the slightest. Skye is performing fine right now but pretty much like she always has been to me, the thing is you need to make much more effort on her than on most other characters and your positionment needs to be immaculate against decent players. 18:14 Lillith's ult only reveals you to Lillith and there's a 99% chance the Drogoz just shot randomly to hit the Ash backing up towards the wall but she wasn't yet there and he just shot randomly on you and happened to kill you xD

agree skye perform too good only in the lower lobbies but in mid to high people knows how to deal with skye so that skye needs to have too much skill to perform good on high elo im glad she got her damage back, i hope they buff her smoke talent and rework the third (or remove the invis time reduction penalty)

@@sebastianaltamirano4991 Definitely most Skyes only perform well in lower ELO lobbies ; the issue with her is aim assist though, that's the frustrating part and I'm 95% sure that's where the actual nerfs come from. But there's also the casual haters that can't be bothered learning the game and how to play against Skye who cry for no actual reasons which is also why Skye suffers from random nerfs. It's sad. I have Skye lvl 640 and I know she's not bad like people have been pretending for all those years but she's never been OP either, she's been a niche pick character that needs to be played well. I mean, I think S&D was overpowered at the very start when they made the card effects apply with healing not nerfed but when the healing was nerfed it was fine, idk what was on their mind removing stealth from the talent, that was really bad. And yeah Preparation needs to be reworked or at least reversed to its old functionality which actually was better, but tbh I would want Surprise Attack back because it was actually fun and could be useful in some matchups. It was fun sniping people from afar with the bonus damage or just adding that extra burst and make her better at bursting squishies vs losing a good part of her tank shredding abilities that Debilitate provides, so it was another way to play her.

Personally I played paladins casually since 2017 or 2018 i can't remember but I always loved playing Skye and I feel like she always felt weaker than other flanks throughout the metas, even when she could heal by herself an entire team she still felt like having to be cautious of everything

@@effynoodle6181 You shouldn't listen blindly to every word I say, of course. You need to keep your own critical mind and everyone has the right to have their own opinion. It's just sad when people have actually no arguments, for example, only telling me I'm biased on Skye or saying Skye is unskilled without any arguments when I always try to be as objective as possible. That's what is very annoying... I honestly dislike seeing characters being overpowered, even characters I love. Remember Ying's ult true healing last patch ? She's my main support and I was always critical of it... It's just not fun and I would not ever want Skye to be overpowered either. What is the fun in playing overpowered characters, really ? I prefer a balanced game much more. Skye is also a character who doesn't have exploits like roof abuse, boost spots abuse (Hello, Drogoz) or roof abuse as a whole (Andro for example), among other things. Anyway, you're right, I think. Main reason I play Skye is because she is super fun to me as well ^^. The thing is, she's consistently been less consistent than most flanks because she has her own niche but isn't a character you can pick every game because of that (at least in serious games). I don't think she's really been necessarily ''weaker'' than all flanks (Moji is much weaker for example) in the overall power level sense, but definitely weaker in the sense that you can't be like ''I can pick Skye and have at least a decent matchup against virtually any comps'', she is not like that, she has a clear design with defined strengths (Great tank-shredder, can force them out in general and not let good off-tanks player roll on your backline, can force out tank points out in critical situations and overall is a good bursty character who can turn the tide of a fight if you know when to engage) but also definite weaknesses (No mobility move so needs to be very aware of her positionment on the map at pretty much all times, needs to be wary of being engaged by other flanks and even some damage characters because she definitely prefers initiating fights or she is at a slight disadvantage already and needs to be aware that her main mechanic, stealth, has many counters with reveals, DoTs revealing her since you see the numbers pop up, etc), so, she definitely has good matchups but also bad ones, some of which are really bad matchups, at an equal level of play, of course. I have had bad games/matchups with Skye, still have them and will always have them because that's inherently what can happen with her.

Yes illuminate now feels like they see you from 50 units away sometimes. Bc good people know where you walking and find you a lot easyer. Still it's barely okay that you still feel invisible sometimes. Just illuminate 1 or even 0.75 o something. And a dmg nerf maby would be better but acualy Givin her the dmg nerf but rework the last talent to to some useful would be the best for her

She does feel terrible lol. Her weapon is the worst in the game. Her only source of damage are her darts, no movement ability so you have to invest into movement speed so heavily. She's annoying to play against but other than that, she sucks.
