Idk why some people are so stupid, they expect heroes to be strong or buffed if that specific hero got a new skin? Who tf balances a game based on if that hero is getting a new cosmetic or not? Grow up kids

My understanding of it is that if a character is strong and has a new skin people are more willing to buy it because they know they'll play the character. If the character is like Hog(a tank and he just got nerfed)people won't want the skin as badly even if it's good because he's not very good right now. It would be a nice maneuver financially and with Overeatch being heavily monetized, I guess people wouldn't put them above buffing a character for more money.

@@thememelord465 This. just think about it, if the character is very bad and very few people plays it, it means there's going to be even fewer people interested in buying it. In Apex Legend there were some Legends that came out VERY strong so that people will buy the skins, and then they get patched not long after (example Seer )

@@purplemonky221 Even more of a reason why the OW2 shop is worse than the previous lootbox system. Now they're incentivized to only make skins for the characters that get played the most, whereas before they could make it for anybody and just throw it in the lootbox pool

I mean he was nerfed the hardest lol the 40% damage reduction which actually led to him getting buffed in the first place because 40% feels horrible on hog even tho mauga somehow escaped nerfs and ORISA got buffed even soj got compensating buffs which makes no sense but hog doesn’t everyone just makes hog seem like this overpowered tank when he doesn’t even have an win rate above 50% lol so the nerfs were unwarranted

​@@hbk7574 his only effective tanking is taking damage. He has no shield or eat or any other damage mitigation. His tanking ability is literally being fat and getting shot a lot. It just feels bad because you're shooting a player and not a shield, or a matrix, or block, etc. His survivability wasn't too strong, just the level of play in ranked is low enough, and Hog was just good enough, to dominate lobbies. Playing around Hog is a team effort, which usually doesn't exist

Getting one kill with any ult is a good ult. With hog’s ult it’s all about the situation, if you are defending and in OT you can ult to push them out of it to win , if you are in a room you can ult and the walls will help with them not being knocked far and kill then faster . Other times your numbers won’t show but the ult can be a huge move either making space or taking space etc

Just ult the tank into a corner. Stop trying to get a huge play and just solo ult some poor bastard. You should only be getting 1 or 2 kills with his ult unless you're just served up something juicy like the whole team in a small room or corner.

It's so weird to me that Tracer is obviously op with how high her pick rate is, but they don't change her seemingly because they follow the idea that buffing weak heroes is more fun than nerfing. That's not a bad idea, but why does Roadhog, who doesn't have as high of a pickrate, gets nerfs anyway?
