"Nerfed" Twin Slice OTK! Kael'thas Sunstrider Combo! | Hearthstone

The goal of this Hearthstone Standard Demon Hunter OTK combo deck is to use Kael'thas Sunstrider combined with Twin Slice and Inner Demon! We do this by obtaining a Doomhammer from Zephrys the Great! Then, we play Kael'thas Sunstrider, Twin Slice, Second Slice, Inner Demon, Hero Power for an exactly 30 damage OTK! Fun meme deck! Good luck!

7:46 missed lethal. You could've outcasted the eye beam. And kael would've reduced the cost of the inner demon by 1. Doomhammer + twin slice + second slice + 7 mana inner demon = 28 damage for 9 Mana. Leaves room for 1 Mana for outcasted eye beam to kill the other mirror entity. Sheep deals the extra 1 damage for lethal.

7:40 missed lethal, and you also were looking at the right card. Eye Beam would have costed 1 after you played Kael'thas and the other 3 combo spells, so it would have killed the second taunt.

Altruis, battlefiend turn 1, small minion removal without spending mana, satyr on t3, digging for outcasts is more expensive. There's several reasons that Twin Slice got nerfed, and in standard, which is the focus of balance, the nerf is a massive deal for DH

Yes you are wrong since that means his combo won't be used so it isn't lethal, regardless of actual lethal on board or not.

MarkMcKz, could you make a combo with warloc, given that 6 cost that give you a spell that will destroy your oponent´s deck to Your oponent, and use that card that anemi spells cost 0 next turn. So we destroy your deck, and you use mechathun and kill it.

I see you were enjoying those face smashes ;p Now I feel even more sad about poor souls who didn't came up in time to play old good OTK DH. P.S. Why don't you use sorcerer's apprentice from Zeph tho? I believe it would be more consistent since you could also play silence there to counter the cheats (taunts) on the same turn, and it would be less vulnerable to weapon removal. Like, K-T + apprentice + 4 slices + 2 inner demons + 5 damage from hero power after metamorph, though for last piece of damage you'd have to get 1 damage from weapon.. but opponents would leave 1/1 weapon much more often, than 2/8 doomhammer, if they would have weapon removal.

Is there a non-highlander otk version? like double inner demon or similar? I would love to beat fellow DHs and greedy priests with this deck, if it were so.

you can try just old OTK version with 1-2 0 mana spells added. It won't quite give you full 30 dmg (the best you can do without preparations will be 6 from 3 slices and 16 from inner demons), but if you're okay with "might be ruined" otks - btw, Mark shows us this kind of otk here - you can also count additional 2 from weapon and 5 instead of +2 from slice with hero power after metamorphosis and second 0 mana spell, so it would be 27 damage. Can up to 29 with another weapon and even go to 30 with cap'n Greenskin, though that would be pretty inconsistent (just as combo Mark shows us Kappa), cause you'd need like 3 turn preparations. Also there is a good chance you will decrease cost of some damage spell (twin slice or chaos strike) with skull of guldan, that would also up the damage. But the deck Mark shows us isn't quite good against priests, cause they have taunts and he can't quite get through them. Same with any other OTK now for DH, I think; it was much better when KT was 6 mana and slices were 0, so you actually had 4 additional mana on altruis/silence/boardclear (dancing blade is beautiful). Other variant for you is OTK priest with reckless rocketeer, it has actually good winrate, I think, at least Zetalot got to legend with it earlier this month. It also has less troubles with taunts because you can get at least 37 damage usually, sometimes even more (depends on your draw and greediness). The combo itself is rocketeer + grave rune + embalming ritual (generally) + shadowy figure, might go with another shadowy figure for more damage through taunts, might use dragon's breath to kill main rocketeers (to trigger deathrattle + reborn). I hope Zeta wouldn't be too mad on me for increasing the number of potential priest players

Nemeses is plural of nemesis. C: And yeah, some nerf. I can't fault them too much as at least they're trying to keep up with the balance patches on the regular instead of letting a meta stagnate for a month or two like previously. I'd rather they make mistakes like this in constant effort to keep the game good than just rest on expansion patch laurels like they used to do.

It's a pretty heavy nerf to the prominent standard tempo DH which was the second most picked deck in GMs and Masters Tour and had an extremely high playrate across a large chunk of the ladder
