Okay, hear me out. Fallen Laegjarn and Fjorm. I just thought about a "what if" scenario where the TT events went bad, so we would have Flame Consumed Laegjarn, with a pref C skill similar to Domain of Flame, possibly more true damage based off the amount of stat buffs, as a callback to Niu's main effect. And on the other side, Frozen Composure Fjorm, with Hardy 4, a stronger Frostbite Mirror, and of course her own version of Domain of Ice, where it could add Divine Stones in a 3x3, and maybe even a Counter Roar status to allies within 2 spaces.

I'm officially convinced that F!Ursula exists just so that there would be at least one random regular enemy unit who can kill E!Ike when autobattling TT. And Essence Drain stealing buffs just by landing an attack is truly crazy, alright.

Thank you so much for the banner analysis. While I think F!Veyle is the best hero from this banner imo, I'm just happy Nergal got to be such a strong unit on this banner, and I'm amazed to see how tanky he can be. If only he can be a mythic hero.

Just look at all the "B!Chrom aged the best" claims and then they released units that outright shut down status-based buff effects, he went from hero to zero within a day.

I’m surprised that Nergal made it to the main pool rather than in the grail shop. He and Lumera should have swapped colors IMO since he uses dark magic (associated with red tomes in FEH) and Lumera Emblem would like a green. But I can kind of see why IS made Nergal green instead.

With nergal on your team you got the whole package. Not only is he really tanky but he can one shot almost anyone, heal your teams and steal ennemies buffs. He's both a tank, a support and an offensif unit. AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, he got a perfect build.

Thanks for the fallen hero build review. I personally love all the fallen heroes this year, but Nergal and Veyle really take the cake from how incredibly strong they both are. Also, Mythic Nergal when?

I’m so glad that the male unit of the banner actually got some love for a change and didn’t get shafted or outshone - granted, I know it’s a fallen banner, so everyone usually gets at least great love (hence no demotes). But my god do they love to shit on the male units, be it rubbish demote unit, or shafted to the grail shop (not always a bad thing but they at least need skill inheritance)

So happy to see Nergal so good, and his Forging Bonds was also absolutely impeccable. Fuck Fallen Veyle and her evil sexualized loli design, this guy's where it's at. EDIT: Nergal + Fallen Veyle was a nasty surprise in the story maps, and it took me some time to realize why my Great Aether wasn't triggering. Now I know the best option I can think of to counter him is Scowl effects.

When you confront Nergal and His morph in chapter 31 of Blazing Sword, but hey, I actually got Fallen Nergal 2 times one for merging because of low attack stat, But to be fair Fallen Nergal can be defeated by Legendary Nanna if she has a Overpowered skills for her A slot and C slot.

Pretty pleased with how these fallen units are so potent! Nergal is just so tanky and he just steals all your power for his own benefit. He’s going to age very well with more visible status effects that he can steal the quintessence of. The forces of EVeyle made her so strong as a Nuke button of a colorless mage. Plus, her usual drive scowl support is still very good. Corrupted Lumera is pretty decent for support in Astra Season and she can also greatly benefit from her Arcane Weapon. Morph Ursula is also a scary fast nuke of a Calvary mage and the desperation effect makes her even better.

If/when you have a spare E!ike to give out Laguz Friend, what attuned/rearmed unit (besides Lumera) would you give it to? Both for their own benefit/best unit to fodder to others.

Sparked Nergal with no other focus units pulled but reached 3 off focus shortly after which gave me hope of getting another one of these... I have still not gotten one but I do love using Nergal and he's already in my AR O team. Essence drain being global is insane - duo kagero snipes a random backline unit and then everyone steals the ARDs statuses and kagero cantos back so you can send out Nergal to act as a wall (or anyone else). The only downside is not getting status effects on him, he gets 2 from his base kit but needs external support for instant glacies, which isn't hard but then maxing his true damage and reduction needs 3 more statuses which is considerably more difficult especially since warping is already on him so peony/B!Catria/w!cordelia only add one status each.

for f2p, pick Lumera or Veyle for the team support for those with Prime builds and Brave/Legendary Chrom, pick Nergal for those with Bride Catria, Winter Cordelia or Heidr, pick Ursula

I am going against foddering my only legendary male alear to rearmed Lumera not only cause I think it’s better that way but I also feel like she would regret killing one of her children too. I better hope dragon roar is on another unit down the line just so Lumera can be closer to her children without another sacrifice.
