I just became aware of "Wiseguy" and was starting to really like that show, then I saw the "Independent Operator" episode with this song, and that put it over the top as my favorite TV series of the 1980s, and one of the best ever. But that song! What was that song? And who sang it? Prince, maybe? Sounds like Prince. No matter, it's a great song, so surely it will be all over the radio, and I will hear it again, right? Wrong! Never heard it again, not on the radio, not on MTV, not at any parties, nowhere. Fast forward to the age of the Internet and You Tube videos, and I still remembered it, and kept searching for it, but without knowing who sang it, I had no luck. I cannot recall the precise search terms I used the first time I did find it, but it was not until 2013! Anyway, really glad I found it again, but feel terrible for Natasha. RIP girl, you rocked!

Alain was nearly 30 and Natasha was 31, but yeah, still pretty young. This is some really cool stuff, definitely has that Eleven vibe to it. I read a review on this song on Allmusic that was really lame, though, saying that they did not know how to harmonize properly and the lyrics were generic. That guy is a doucher

"Daddy's Coming Home" was featured in the 21 Jump Street episode "Honor Bound" and the Wiseguy episode "Independent Operator". This Walk the Moon should not be confused with the indie pop-rock band that performed "Shut Up and Dance".

Weird that such an upbeat video is so depressing -- Natasha no longer being with us and Alain looking like he ate his old What Is This bandmates. Probably the best song What Is This never did, even though the rest of the album -- with the exception of "She Flies" -- might as well have been called Walk the Dog.
