Syntax Vs Droid Bishop: A collaboration made in heaven!

There seems to be TWO different groups called Syntax. There was one album by a UK group Syntax, Mecano Mind feat Jan Burton (who did other stuff with Gabriel and Dresden. And that style is more progressive house Then there is THIS syntax that is very retrowave. I get confused between them.

I was just about to ask you what the glitch effect at 0:17 is called, when I noticed that I just had a glitch and could not reproduce it. Was pretty spicy with the green encoding artifacts
