NES Game: F-1 Race (1984 Nintendo)

A Racing game similar to Pole Position. This game has 3 skill levels and 5 different circuit races. The 5th race keeps going in a loop endlessly until ran out of time and the game is over. Skill 3 is the hardest.
Note: The last few levels on skill 3 were too difficult so I cheated on those levels just to show them.

It's a 1984 game, but engine sound seems like the newer V6 Turbo F1 cars.

Some cars in 1983 (I think the 1984 game inspired from 1983 season) used V6 turbocharged engine. that turbo sound though. I don't believe Nintendo put that detail.

I used to switch between hi and low instead of stopping. It helped me to take those curves a bit better.

I prefer slowing down more, but I agree with that method as well, because almost no curves throw me off balance when I'm on low gear.

Dawn Saturdays to Morning sundays playing with my nephews in my vacation days , back in the middle 80's (1984 This game, my famicom8, I baked coconut cookies on breakfast, my homemade mayonese, spaghetti,greek rice, stewed chicken,barbecue,beer & soda. I loved to cooking for a sunday's meal after play game...everthing reminds me about this game as I spent to having a fun gathering all whole family at sundays ) Those were bliss days Playing F1 Race & enjoying my weekends. When I was a kid I played this game on my PolyStation thing I was Ayrton Senna. I remebe I draw the logo of the game and a F1 car and write "Senna" right down the car. This happen in 2004,10 years after the accident, Senna still influencent in that time. In this time I'm not evem know he been died, when my dad told me that I get real shocked

Gave my Mini SFC Anniversary Edition to an old friend, and now I have a clone of the Bittboy console, which also plays this game XD that thing is so messed up, when I plug it into a charger while playing Road Fighter, the car drives itself and auto-steers out of skids lmao it's like partial cheat mode

That's right bro. I've done that many times too. It is much easier to get an extra engine, especially in the first round. At 21:25 we see 415 kmh. It's true. Even though I turned the last stage 4 or maybe 5 rounds using this engine ability, the game did not end. We always lose the game due to lack of time. Those were the good old days.
