agelums would swoop in and kill his ass. Their entire MO is to be anticheats of the game. Plus, this isn't a game in the traditional sense. This is a window to another world, with the game only being a sort of telephone to that other world, so cheats like that probably wouldn't even work

It says a lot about the story when some of the what ifs are far more interesing than the main story... Frankly, this creepypasta shit the bed hard, it's impressing how mind-numbingly bland and boring these ocs can get, X and Zero being there only bog down the story because they're so not-fitting that you'd think this is just a crappy trollpasta made as some sort of inside joke from a private discord server, but no, it shits the bed while taking itself seriously, because it seems like it's trying to rectify the "lol xd" moments from the early story and failing at it. All of this feels like the equivalent of a shitty fanfic in wattpad with the author's fav characters against some bland ocs, which it is. The story started out as a promising haunted cartridge game story but it simply turned out to be a lameass story that spends too long rambling on about the filler that it just made me start pressing right to skip out all of this bullshit, i've felt both frustration at the in-universe story's events (back when i was actually immersed enough to give a shit) and frustration at how fucking boring the story gets, it doesnt have anything to do with godzilla aside from some recolored enemies and anguirus! And while it's not like you have to make a godzilla nes fanpasta focus endlessly on godzilla and its kaijus and what not, since the MoM NES creepypasta sequel has a lot of OC world-building and all that, this story cant exactly stand on its own, the story itself simply has a basic fuck villain where all she does is being a complete asshole and eugenics and possessing kaijus to make them do generic evil shit because of some portal, not a single speck of depth or entertaining personality traits to make the queen feel like anything other than a generic evil bad guy who does evil or stupid shit because she's stupid or something, even something random like "i'm actually the soul of james's dead grandma" would make her at least slightly more interesing, but its too late for that now. The human protagonist himself isnt much better either, he might as well be the narrator instead because that's pretty much all he does at this point, at least zach showed actual personality and Carl still interacted with the videogamey aspects of the game like asking for passwords and talking with npcs while using his actual name which reminds you that the creepypasta is from the pov of a player. Not even the "urr i regret killing the king" thing saves him from being lame, because guess what? It sucks too, all the whole drivel about "you're a murderer!!!" "I'm a murderer!!" falls flat when you remember that this shit is a fucking videogame, which makes all of it seem like the start of a newgrounds parody about the whole "videogames are evil and making serial killers!!!" thing, it's essentially the queen saying "oh, but did you consider that le videogame character is actually le GOOD???" and James feeling guilty for playing a videogame the way a videogame is played, that's it, just the player being guilttripped over NOTHING, how am i supposed to take this crap seriously if it's so stupid it's bad?? Like did the story forget that it's supposed to be about a guy playing a videogame with personalized elements and not a guy who actually walked up to a real life king and stabbed them with a knife????? The main cast isnt even good enough to care about! The two titular main characters that most people care about for default were killed off too early onto the story and godzilla was only brought back right before killing him off with dynamo which ruined the seriousness of the story in such a way that it felt more like a mean-spirited "screw you!" towards the viewer! No wonder the views plummeted after the first few chapters of this creepypasta... but back to the point, mothra and godzilla are replaced with... anguirus, a glorified side character who isnt enough to fill the void that was left after the absence of godzilla and mothra. that one ice kaiju OC who i cant even be bothered to remember their name because of how much personality he lacks, who is essentially a worse version of solomon, because solomon at least managed to showcase his personality with his catchphrase and his connection to red, meanwhile this ice snore guy doesnt feel memorable at all even through the story made him capable of speaking. And X & Zero are seriously non-fitting on this story, i cant be bothered to care about them because they're too goofy for this story, i'm pretty sure that if the story had said "then due to a small fuck up i did, X/zero fell down a pit and fucking died." near the start of their inclusion, the story wouldve felt 200% times more serious. This is pretty much a forgettable cast in my opinion, you could literally just throw SMB1 Mario in the story with no changes to his sprite whatsoever aside from being resized to kaiju size while having "OMG it's so retro!" as his catchphrase, and the story would be a little more tolerable because of how absurd that would be and maybe then i'd have some quick laughs. I unironically felt saddened when i heard about the bad ending, not because i felt any shred of sympathy towards these characters, but because it sounded infinitely more interesing than the direction the original story went with, frankly. Sigh, sorry if i sounded too mean, its just that i was in a bad mood when i found this vid and started writing this comment, just know that, this story could've been pretty good, as the concepts seem pretty interesing and could've been executed better, but certain decisions bring it down quite a bit, which is a shame, because it seems like you got better at writing in the later parts of this story, but the flaws are too egregious for me to look past, honestly. The reason i kept watching these chapters was because i was hopeful that, maybe, the story would get a lot better and the early mistakes would be the last issues of this story, but respectfully, i dont think i could stomach any future chapters, but i hope you improve in the future! I'd be willing to read newer projects of yours after this story is finished.
