King's Knight was released in the US. In fact, I have that game for my NES. But no one in my family has ever beat it.

Naw, there's a trick where if you hold Select just as you step on the stairs leading to the cave, it takes you to an alternate cave that only has power ups and the dungeon boss.

In the US version, the cave in Toby's stage was much harder than what was shown in the video. If I remember right, there were dragon statues everywhere.

Oh man! As a kid, I could only get the knight and wizard to the fortress, and when I reached monolith maze, I was quite unhappy, with the design of the final monolith maze. I didn't think it was possible without the thief at all. (never made it through with thief or monster) Man, I could use a few detailed maps (Not ascii style) of these levels to help out.

This game is crazy-hard, but I love it. Only thing that really bothers me about it is that once you die, you don't get a chance to immediately replay the level, which makes it incredibly hard to get used to them.

いいもの見せて頂き感謝いっぱいです。。他人のコメント 見ずして動画一気にLAST迄っていうのは初めてです、そん位凄いという事！ ちなみに私はクリアしてないソフトなのでミス無しで突破したこの余裕感は ポーーっとしちゃいます。。。 ちなみに余り敵を撃たなかったり、やたら前進傾向があったのは癖ですか？

This game does have it's gripes, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as most players are making it out to be. I actually kind of enjoyed it, and I've DEFINITLEY played worse.

It's not -that- bad per se, but the game is designed around trial-and-error gimmickry involving you starting all over everytime you make a mistake. It's not that bad now with the internet and stuff, but back when I was a kid in the early 90's this game was infuriating. If you could try a stage again instead of being shifted to the next stage/character, it wouldn't be as bad. But as it is it's a game that begs AVGN treatment imo. It's just an evil game.
