Looking back at this game, it's incredible how many things these guys got right! Backtracking, a sort of open world, RPG elements, that Metroidvania feel, and a lot more that makes this game a true masterpiece for its time.

Yeah, this one was fan-translated. More than half of Japan-only Famicom games were, interestingly enough (mostly to English). Cool game indeed, can't argue with that.

Yup, it actually was one of the final releases for the Famicom in Japan (1994). No wonder it flew under everyone's radar. Interestingly, it was one of the first Famicom games to receive a fan-translation. :)

One of my best childhood game. My cousin and I spent many days to complete it. And when it's over, the hero rescued his wife and arrived the island, I really really want the new level for this game to accomplish. This is one of my first game ever I'm excited and interested to play because of gameplay and many items , weapon , hidden secret,... So much memories.

Adventure island 4 de 1994 mejor conocido en México como los juegos de capulinita debido al parecido con el comediante mexicano capulina este juego es uno de los últimos de la generación de 8 bits ya que la generación de los 16 bits estaba arrasando la competencia aun así es muy buen juego este título lo conocí en una ROM y entre 2012 a 2014 lo conseguir 3 veces en compilatorio en 3 en 1 en cartucho de familiy Game junto con Adventure island 2 y 3 y al día de hoy aun los conservó y los he acabado mas de una vez ya que Adventure island 1 es el título que aun no lo he terminado

Cierto esta algo dificil d terminar solo los profesionsles lo acaban sin chistar y solo usan las hachas sin el power up d las bolas d fuego esas k destruyen las piedras y además lo malo d este juego k p/muchos k NO somos profesionales nos cuesta trabajo y más peor xk ya llegando a la parte d la escenas 7 - 3 d la isla 7 Si t eliminan YA no t dan las hachas aunke pases la escena y tienes k estar bien vivo xk la escena es d blanco y negro y t salen las arañas u murcielagos u cuervos y sapos y piedras k a veces se t olvidan k estan ahi en las plataformas k se mueven d un lado a otro k estan casi al final d la escena y si t tokan ya es dificil pasarlo bien y con broncas y ademas k t presiona el tiempo y tambien SI lo logras pasar entero y llegas a la ultima escena d la isla 7 lo mismo tienes k estar atento en toda la escena hasta la ultima parte d la escena 7 - 4 dl bosque y con las hachas u bolas d fuego en mano y x alguna razón llegas a la ultima escena d la isla 8- 1 hasta 8 - 4 y donde t esperan una gran cantidad d pulpos y peces voladores arañas y sapos y piedras y duendes k vienen corriendo atrás d tí y un huevo donde sale una berenjena k t resta tiempo ect ect y lo mas dificil todavia es pasar las 4 fogatas k estan casi al final dl juego y tienes k saltar a la fogata viendo en sentido contrario xk SI saltas d frente t eliminas con las otras fogatas y tambien hay una cobra k esta enmedio d unas piedras y tienes k eliminarla d lejos xk t lanza cobritas voladoras y llegar al ultimo jefe k se mueve muy rapido y aparte k cuando llegas se apaga las rayitas dl tiempo y saltar las plataformas k se caen y tienes k calcular distancia y eskivar las bolas d fuego dl jefe final y estar bien atento xk si no t apuras en acabarlo t mata el tiempo sin deberla ni temerla el juego si esta algo dificil sin las hachas ni bolas d fuego en esa parte final dl juego es muy dificil terminarlo xk no t dan los huevos con hachas ni las bolitas d fuego ni nada ese es lo malo como lo terminas y creeme k NO se puede xk hay arañas k suben y bajan muy rapido y no las puedes eskivar p/nada es algo complicado ni aunke tengas CONTINUES ILIMITADOS no t sirve d nada y tienes k ser muy listo e inteligente p/acabarlo el ADVENTURE ISLAND 1 ok👍☺saludos
