Those were the times when I and most of my friends could never beat most games. Anytime we got together to play these, and one of us was having a good run, we rooted for it like crazy, because it meant we would get to see what would come next. What nobody had ever seen before, unexplored territory. Some of the kids used to tell tall tales about what happens in the later levels, most of them were bullshit, but few that were very skillfully done were actually believed by many of the younger ones like me. We have far more complex games now and photo realistic graphics, vr headsets and games in the cloud, but I miss that simplicity of the NES. I really do.

I just bought a complete nes and a dozen of cartridges because of this,new games lost the principle of video gaming in my opinion plus nostalgia was high as my original Nintendo and games were “lost”

My mom still love this game....when i was a kid, she used to watch me play this game a lot ( I never cleared stage 4 lol). But now i grew up and i still play games but ones from today's generation. when my mom sees me playing these new games she tells me how she used to love watching me play that "Red race car game" of hers lol . same i was on 5 or 6 when i start it it was amazng i wanna back to the old dayus too it was so cool :D the good days when you wake up so early and go to the next room to play the game on cold room if is cold the day on one big old tv it was just amazing :D time :D i wake up early everyday to play her and before to go to the bed in the night was amazing now when i go in the night to the room in what was the old tv before to go eat in the same room was my old tv and now he and the console is not in the room anymore from years but when i go to eat just when i see the room in the night on dinner time i just start to think to the old nights when i play her is so nostalgic true and amazing time i wanna back in time where is my time machine :D

This game was released in North America in November 1984, Japan in December 1984, and Europe in Late 1984 in Arcades. This was also for the MSX but was only released in Japan. This game was also for the NES, but it was only released in Japan and Europe. It was later for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in July 2019.

Summer 2010 It's a beautiful Saturday morning with the sun shining everywhere and it's sizzling hot. After I've watched my usual weekend cartoons which I loved I'm going to turn on my famiclone and play this game. Ugh why are those red cars so annoying they move suddenly... Clock shows 1pm dad returns from work and I've just completed level 2. I close my famiclone because we're going to the beach. After a joyous day there I come home and turn on my famiclone and go through to complete level 2 again. Wonderful times

I remember a trick I did was to hold down all the directional keys. That way when ever you hit something you would recover from the skid before the spin without moving further than necessary. I used a circular d pad tho. Don't know if it worked for key type pads
