if you watch him play it with Mike on James and Mike Mondays, he actually says he has a fondness for this game and it's one of the most nostalgic games to him.

I borrowed it from a friend, beat it after a while and never wanted to play it again. It has been 30 years since, and I still have no desire to play this again.

Way better than Castlevania 3! The third one is hard as heck to beat, and you don't die so easily. Also you don't die if you forget to push down when your trying to go down the staircase!

The game has 3 different endings, depending on how fast you beat the game. If you take too long to beat the game, the curse kills you, and the ending is of Simon dying.

did he cheat doing this playthough? he got a heart everytime from the wolf man right at the start and got the crystal and holy water before it changes to night. i tried that and doesn't work.

i was wondering the same thing... i never been able to get the holy water and white crystal before the first night. I wonder if he got lucky... Or maybe he did cheat idk

plus not to mention the chain whip in Veros is worth 150 hearts. So he got enough hearts for the crystal and holy water before night... and enough for the chain whip when he was fighting zombies at night time.
