Homework Ans: The division operation is not possible because the student relation is not a proper subset of the course relation as not all attributes (columns) in student are present in course

It is derieved operator right so internally we are using some sort of difference operator as well as cross product what about that ?

no,because in the new expression course/student the numrator course isn't proper subset of the denominator one which is student 😊

It is impossible. Because the course relation is not a proper subset of the relation student

it is not possible because every attribute in student is not present in the course relation.

I actually don't know why But may be because name attribute is not in the r2 table

Division condition : student is not a proper subset of course. Course has only one tuple whereas student has 2 tuples so this is not possible
