1:10 Let me know who got 'c' as answer. I was confused for rest of video. We were played. 😂🙏

Many students solve and get c as the answer and feel happy. The confusion is clear at the end, I hope!

You will get everything in the app with Neso fuel, the playlists are updated on a regular basis.

@@piyushsoni4100 Actually this course is complete till linked list only. So my doubt is that when i take fuel than full course would be available or lec would be uploaded on daily basis.

You call it the transfer function, meaning the Open loop transfer function? It always gets me confused whether it is the Open-loop or the closed-loop that is being considered.

How did the numerator change from 5 to 1?
@Dragon_Slayer243112 күн бұрын
it was written in G(s) = K(1+ts)......./(1+ts)...... in this form (s+5) becomes 5(s/5+1)..... this 5 cuts the 5 in numerator

After removal of the term(s+5) how the DC gain become 1? If anybody know the solution of please let me know Thanks

DC gain of the system was always 1.

@ how numerator changed to 1
@himanshumehta35693 жыл бұрын
Dc gain is calculated before converting into lower order approximations. So first we calculated DC gain then we removed s+5

@@piyushsoni4100 when u r eliminating (s+5) from denominator they why didn't u write 5 in numerator ?? please explain where did that 5 go in the numerator while eliminating the insignificant term??? Please do reply
@surajtakale3 жыл бұрын
in (s+5) put s=0 .. magnitude 5 cannot be neglected hence 5/5 = 1
@theprophetspath99294 жыл бұрын
Why you removed 5 on numerator.... Only (s=-5) was insignificant pole

DC gain of =5/((s+5)(s²+s+2)) Also TF after neglecting insignificant pole. Thanks in advance.
@PunmasterSTP3 жыл бұрын
The DC gain should be a number, i.e. it shouldn't have any s's left in it. If you plug s = 0 into the TF, you should arrive at the correct DC gain.

Why are you comparing the ratio to 4? Where did u get 4 from?
@PunmasterSTP3 жыл бұрын
He uses two criteria in order to approximate the system without an insignificant pole. First, the ratio of the insignificant to significant poles has to be at least 4, and second, the DC gain of both the original system and the approximation need to be the same. I'm not sure if different sources use different ratios as a cutoff, but I imagine they might.

Hey for (s+5) the pole is -5 and for (s-0.5) it should be 0.5. But u took -0.5 as pole. Can u tell why u took -0.5 as the pole instead of 0.5 ????
@PunmasterSTP3 жыл бұрын
He got the other two poles by using the quadratic factor on the s^2 + s + 1 term. He goes through the derivation at 1:39.
