Is there any way to tell metiorites olivine from Earth olivine ? Also Lazer pointers red or green ...can I use light to feild identify olivine peridot's ? Blacklights ? ..

Its not that precise you didnt briefly describe how the tetrahaderal bonding of silica and oxide occurs and whether octahederal side was to support mg, iron, ca or mg in etc or cubic or 12 fold. thus this explanation is not much in details. appreciated though, i was expecting more
