That coffee had a good “head” of crema on it 😉 The board your wife did is beautiful! I don’t think I’ve tried this one and can’t remember if it was in the sampler pack when I first got my machine. If it was, I must not have liked it because I never ordered it. One of my faves that’s discontinuing is the Elvazio, hopefully they still have some when I make my next big purchase next week 🤞🏻

Yeah I don’t remover it’s it’s in the sampler pack either but you may want to act fast a lot of the coffees are running out already. Thanks for the comment

Hi Sterling....just found your channel about a week ago and have been binge watching ever since. I absolutely LOVE my Nespresso machines (have Virtuoline Plus Deluxe and Essenza mini). I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your thoughts, your reactions (your many different faces as to the taste and texture of the coffee), you always look like you are having SO MUCH fun! Waiting until the first of the month to become a Patron. And.....a couple of questions (I love your interaction with your 'behind the scenes' wife), does she have a first name? I'm sure she does, but I have never heard you mention it. 2nd question.....can you please explain to me what a "ristretto" is exactly? ...or direct me to a video where you have explained it? I am confused...is it less water or more water? How can you possibly have less water than an espresso at 1.35 ounces? TIA Sterling and you and your wife please keep well and stay healthy and keep up the great work on your fantastic videos!! I can't wait for your next one!

Hello and a big welcome. Her name is Shannon and if/when you become a Parton there is a behind the scenes video for you guys (it’s older now) that shows us and an entire filming. Ristretto is actually a shorter shot it’s 0.85 oz. or short shot. Some machines can’t actually do this shot they can only do the normal and long. @@ipon70 Thanks so much for responding and I wanted to tell Shannon what a great job she does on her blackboard. I am a retired art teacher (in Toronto, Canada) and her artwork on the blackboard behind you is FABULOUS! And about the spoon...you need a spoon-rest for your obtusively long spoon...it's a riot how so many people have come undone because you put it straight on to the table, I loved watching your reaction to that. However, I must admit that the thing that I can't understand is how you can put the spoon down without licking it. There is no possible way I could stir my coffee and NOT lick the spoon!!! NOPE, can't do the 0.85 ounce thing, even if I do an espresso shot (I need milk) so I have pretty much finished my coffee before I can take it from the counter to the table. See you on the 1st when I become a Patron!

Is it true that they are discontinuing all the decaf for the Vertuo? Is there any news of replacements?

That is a true story. It was told to me at the shop and I was alerted to ask about it by a user. No word on replacements.

The Nespresso Reddit group says they are replacing the decafs with decaf versions of Melozio, altissio and fortado. Altos being discontinued also
