I use the sleek outlet from amazon to hide my cord better but not necessarily because of short cords, it just hides the cords better but I guess it does fix that problem as well

I have had nothing but issues with this machine since I bought it Monday 🥺 Mine was also leaking a ton of water. After I would brew anything it would just spit for minutes after? Also the crema it produces is absolutely terrible. The thinnest barely there crema? They are sending me a new one but I’m thinking maybe it’s just this machine and the pro may be better? Also agree with even with the milk to the minimum line its way too much so I only use what I need!

Pro tip, i run an empty cycle after brewing an espresso using the espresso size. I also made a hole to the capsule container, maybe 2 holes so if there’s any water to the capsule container, it goes stragight to the drip tray, idk why nespresso didnt do tht. you will see their is a passage to the drip tray, my creatista uno has one not sure if the plus has one. My bf used a drill to make a hole. Water dripping is perfectly fine when running an empty cycle because theres just water sitting around, i lift the lever after doing an empty cycle, extra water comes out to the drip and out to the capsule container and it goes to the drip tray if u decide to make like holes at the bottom of the capsule container. I hope this makes sense lol. The passage way to the drip tray is underneath tht tiny tray bottom left, pour water inside and see for urself it has holes to let extra water come out but it doesnt make sense since the capsule container is sealed off. Again not sure if the creatista plus has it.

So I am so hesitant to get a machine now because the reviews on the Nespresso website. There’s been manufactured issues with leaking and all of that. How did you go about picking your machine? Any advice?

I didn’t really research it. I saw they had it in white and it was beautiful and loved the wand function and decided I wanted it. It has a two year warranty so if it breaks for some reason I’ll call them. Never had a bad experience with their customer service till this day.

@@TreasureBijon I'm not sure about the Vertuo Plus. Do not buy the NEXT! I got one, and it leaked everywhere and kept giving me errors, no matter what I did. I called Nespresso and told them that I'd heard about all the Next's problems. They let me pick an UPGRADED machine, and they sent me a mailing label so I could box up the Next and send it back to them. If you search for reports about the Next, you'll see that a lot of users got dud machines. I picked the Evoluo as my replacement, and I LOVE it. No problems at all. We make anywhere from 2-6 cups a day with it. Nespresso's customer service has been so great that I bought a little Inissia (an OL machine) just for traveling. It's tiny and light and great for hotel rooms.

I think latissma is the machine where the milk will be auto dispensed. I see you’ve been using less of the OL lately after this new machine as compared to previous essenza plus :(

Mainly because of all the new releases that Vertuo has been having, nothing to do with the machine. I don’t like the Latissima machine because it groses me out to have the milk in a container like that instead of the pitcher. I’ll be doing a review in this machine soon.

I also have the same vertuo machine as you and love that one but am excited to have a machine that does the original line. Congrats on the Creatista purchase! For anyone interested in purchasing but not wanting to pay full price, check out Bed, Bath & Beyond. They ran a sale on the first/second week of December. It was the same week Nespresso had a massive sale, also. This was 2019. In addition to the massive price reduction, they also honored their standard 20% off coupon online. I was able to get mine for $287.99, before tax. And I LOVE my machine, my first and only Nespresso. #noregrets
