I just found your channel and I'm so happy to have finaly found someone that makes videos and recipes about the original capsules. Most videos/recipes I find are about the vertuo one. I have a Nespresso original machine (pixie) and also bought a vertuo next machine.. but I did not like the vertuo coffees at all, so I got rid of it after not even 2 weeks. Please continue to make more videos and recipes about the original capsules 😁

You must try Lavazza Rossa, it’s similar to Roma, also I mixing pods, the best mix is one pod of illy intenso and one of Roma

Lavazza Rosa and Oro are on my must try list! I am sure they’ll be great. 👍👍 About mixing pods … I have never tried it! Wonder how it will taste….

I tried pike place and you are right it taste similar to Venezia .. but i noticed their prices is going up like nespresso so i’m trying different brands right now and I usually like medium to dark roast So the one i liked most is Lo’r Profondo capsule and the davidoff crema intense is really nice also and if you like more intense coffee i think you must try lavazza oro If you would compare lavazza with illy wich one would you recommend?

If you’re looking for affordable capsules I think Lavazza and Illy are really good for medium-dark roast. For me, I would rate Illy 9/10 - everything is good! Lavazza is 8/10 - I like most of the capsules except for level 6-8 (lighter roasts, which are acidic)

You are right, Starbucks capsules and Nespresso are getting more expensive! But so is the coffee in coffee shops - but luckily with Nespresso original line we can find coffee from different brands easily! I have tried a L’Or coffee (i believe was intensity 7 or 8) but tasted like the Starbucks Sumatra (very weird and herbal)

Yes true even coffee at coffee shops are getting more expensive.. I will be trying illy then when i find it on sale .. you will be surprised that it is the most expensive capsules here more than starbucks and same as nespresso capsules I just compared prices and i was shocked because nespresso capsule in Malaysia is much cheaper than Saudi Arabia For example Napoli is 24 MYR but it is 46 MYR in the Saudi site🤭 And illy capsules are 42 MYR so that’s why i try different brands when they are on sale 😆

Tried the Moccona cappuccino one was very disappointed expected a nice cappuccino taste didn't do it for me.

Oh no! The cappuccino was my leaaaaast favorite of the Moccona series. But there are a few more I’d like to try from them (if I can find them!)
