Hello friends,
Thank you for joining me for another Nespresso video. It wasn't my plan for this month to upload 3 coffee videos but here we are. Coffee is one of the things we're enjoying a lot this season and I want to share that with you guys. This is actually my second Vertuo machine. I just love my Nespresso! The variety of flavors they have are excellent and I like that this machine makes espresso just like my old one. I hope you enjoy this review for the Nespresso Vertuo Plus..

Yesterday I used up the last of my Tassimo discs and I am excited to ring in the New Year with my new Vertuo Plus. My Tassimo, which also uses barcode technology, still works great after 5 years but the discs are not widely available anymore so it was time to make a change. Thank you for your great presentation!

I agree with everything you said about the temperature of the coffee brewed by the Nespresso machines. In regards to cool liquid creamers, I use them. In fact, they are my favorite ones to pair with Nespresso's coffees and espressos. I just heat them with the frother or microwave beforehand. BTW, great quality video. Thanks!

I purchase the NESPRESSO VERTUO PLUS your is different than a mine (sleek flat on top as yours is like Dawm ) but either way it's a very good coffee ,

Is the crema on top super bubbly and fizzles out or is it more thick and holds up better (I know you mix the crema in w/the coffee). My old machine made delicious thick crema, but my brand new Nespresso Pop+ is super bitter and the crema is just bubbles (awful). I'm going to return it but I don't know what Nespresso machine to buy.

Thanks for your review! Quick question: you talked about the Alto capsules (for 14oz coffee). Where do you find them? The Nespresso website has that option "grayed-out" (i.e. not available) for the Plus line and I have read elsewhere that Nespresso discontinued the 14oz Alto capsules earlier this year. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks again!!

Yes, unfortunately Nespresso discontinued the alto and I guess they replaced it with the pour-over style pods. That’s really sad because it was so handy for on-the go cup of coffee.
