By the way. For those interested in the technical side of thing. This demo was made completely with the Amiga computer using OctaMED SoundStudio. Back when I didn't even have the means to buy other instruments than the kantele yet. All other instruments were sampled and synthesized with the Amiga. The golden age of computing as far as I'm concerned.

And what about later albums, like Woodsmoke and Trail of the Unwary? For me, it is quite obvious, that the spirit of Amiga synthesizers presented in early music, especially given your sympathy for this platform

@@channelbase864 Fabled Lore and Hidden Stream were made on the Amiga. Starting with Woodsmoke I switched to a Windows PC. I was still using a tracker software instead of a more modern DAW on the PC too - namely the great JEskola Buzz which combines the notation programming convention of a tracker like OctaMED and the effects routing capabilities of a DAW. For Woodsmoke I still used some samples and instrumentation that I had used in the Amiga days. With Trail and the Syven stuff after that I had switched to synthesizing everything from scratch with the soft synths in Buzz - mostly with FSM Infector, which is an excellent subtractive synth. I wish there was a VST version of it. Nowadays I'm using Reaper for new music production. I do have to say, having to switch to a PC took away a lot of the magick of computing for me. I still prefer the Amiga today. Fiddling with it was a real hobby, whereas the PC is just a tool to get things done. Well, luckily I have a very good emulation environment with which I can always go back to my Amiga home anytime. Even today it has pixel art software that surpasses anything modern I've found.

​@@TuomiOrava thanks. Have kantele myself too, but while I am playing it for some time, I almost have no idea about DAWs to arrange things. Guess I will try to come up with a thing or two in some time What about computers - I think, any powerful enough platform have quite large room for *fiddling*, despite the Amiga was too advanced in its time)

@@channelbase864 Yes. The Unguarded Reliquary project is a collection of ambient tracks I made for a game project. They are all quite short, because they were meant for environmental atmospherics, and to be somewhat randomized. They're not complete songs per se - except one title track and a longer version of one of the ambiences. I can post them here too once I get to that point.
