Hi Michael, Great video! Quick Question: When would you trigger the processing of the DLQ?

Hey Paul, thanks for your support. I'm assuming you're asking when would you actually deal with messages inside of the DLQ. This is actually a really good question that depends large on the nature of your consumer, I.e, is it idempotent? One strategy is to have a CRON job that continually checks the DLQ for any messages and replays them back onto the topic up to a certain number of times. However I think this is a great question and open to suggestions.

Does not Nestjs or kafka provide a built in retry config?
