I was stuck on 7, and i also upgraded everything till the 10,000 mark. I was really going to give up and though i could only complete it if i upgrade the 10,000 levels. But after I saw your video, i was able to complete it in the very next try. Thanks.

Im on stage 7 with no upgrades as I started event late, i just cant seem to do enough damage, even if i get swash and some demon edges, i get kills early sure, but at around 6 minutes my damage falls completly flat and i die from not gaining anything new. Edit: I hadn't watched the other video, I watched the other video and saw about the resets. I then reset only about 6-7 times until I got Knives > Phylactery > Demon edge > swash buckle. And from there I cruised my way to the end. So ignoring resets I did it first try tonight. Cheers for your video, I got to echelon 7 with my own build no upgrades but got stuck on 7, your videos massively helped

I think it's also having a decent pc / connection to beat this.. cos your screen looks so clean lol. But the heart is crazy good, and I'm slightly convinced by the knife. But you did have amazing luck with cheeses in this 1

My build was basically pray to god I get track last skill. Max projectiles. Ignore item pick ups until track aghs. Usually picked up maybe 3 items prior prioritizing tome early. Trident, Sange yasha then kaya. Specialists array. Only level 1 until other items were maxed. Khanda And heart last Level 30+ almost every run since roshan starts to drop double levels instead of items. So many bags of gold. I finished the whole thing in like 3 days. But I did do upgrades.

I'm trying to do this run with w/ Kez and I think I underestimated Track's value, as that one item that has high impact, utility, and no need to level up. For which I always opt for Goo, to increase the pick up radius, but maybe it's better to use Chasm instead.

Did you ever try to pick the spells you didnt want and pick the itemes you didnt want. I did it 3 times. Then on my forth attempt I could all of a sudden just pick the build I wanted super easely. The game was like: Aha! You really like Rot and counter Helix with kaya and reaver! Then you shall have venge stun and knives with speciallist array and octarine core!

Physical build is great with no to minimal upgrades, magical Skywrath is required if you have (all) upgrades and just want to beat your friends' high scores.

And Skywrath's passive, additional projectile (doesn't matter if it's a magical or physical projectile spell, it adds one more) combined with Specialist Array, synergyzes so well with the two spells crucial for a no/low upgrades run: Track and Knives.

As shown in video this mini game is total BS. Because even without upgrades if you don't get setup like shown in video you will die. Your first boss is not Wailing mass you will die. Game gives you unly arcane bolt upgrades you will die. So either you max out all upgrades (and still has chance to die because of rng) or roll endlessly perfect setups in hope to not die due to random meteor fallin on your head.

Here's the thing, game devs have been using psychology studies and incorporate those findings into game design. Having variance (or rng in this case) greatly increases the replayability of a game. If there is no rng, one build order, path, hero choice, etc. that would guarantee a won run every time...then players would just copy the most successful one and be done with it. Yes, the aforementioned guaranteed win is great for those who don't have time to play a lot, but if you're a game dev: Would you cater to those who rarely play, or those who spend a lot of time on your game?

Also those stupid dialogues where you have to skip with spacebar. Spacebar also randomizes skills/item to pick up. If Dialogue and level up/item build all pop up at the same time and you press space. You are screwed.
