Oh, a cool memory. In grade 1 we had to make our own storybooks. I did my storybook based on the pilot of ALF. :) Yeah, I was a fan for sure.

i remember back in the day Burger King had Alf plushes. I think they came with cassette tapes too. I have a chef Alf. it was freaking awesome! Alf needs to make a comeback!

I loved Alf when I was a kid! I had Alf toys, plushies, coloring books, picture books :) Man talk about nostalgia. Though I was more of a TMNT, Transformers and after '91 Sonic kid, but I still loved Alf

the best part of the show was watching Willie and ALF arguing about whatever mischief ALF was causing. still cracks me up even to this day. this show still a favorite. the only thing that doesnt hold up to well is the acting except from Max Wright and Paul Fusco. you can tell they had a blast with their roles. i plan to show this to my kids when i become a father.

haha. God, ALF went completely off my radar. ALF was part of the golden years of 80s TV. He was such a massive part of pop culture back then. I'm going to have to pick up the DVDs. Thanks for the video! :)

Alf was one of my favorite shows growing up love that show. Alf holds a special place to me because one of my best friends died when i was little and his mom gave me his Alf stuffed animal (the same one you showed in this vid) to remember him by. I keep it in my room at my parents house on a shelf. Great vid man and take care bro.

I too had that same Born to Rock Alf puppet from Burger King. There's a movie called Permanent Midnight starring Ben Stiller that is about one of the Alf writers, though any scenes involving the puppet used a green stand-in character instead.

Funny thing is that you notice how his voice changed after 2 episodes it was to hard for Paul fusco to keep the voice up. Also they planned to make Alf addicted to beer (notice how he and Brian drink beer in on of the earlier episodes but since it should be family friendly they took that off also.i also think that the christmas episode of season 2 is the best christmas tv special i ever saw,

Yep I watched alf when I was a kid.My brother had the alf doll and we all had the hand puppets.I think those came from hardees back in the 80's and we used to watch the saturday morring cartoon. Great times I miss the old days Im going to be 31 and I rember those days very well.

I don't believe I ever watched ALF, but my best mate also had that talking ALF doll you have. I believe Coleco also made a talking ALF toy that used tapes, similar to Teddy Ruxpin in a way.

I loved this show. My whole family would watch it. I too had the cut out paper record. I thought from a cereal box?? But maybe nit. I remember having trouble getting it working due to warping.

Do you remember the 10-10-220 calling commercials (back when EVERYBODY had a land line)? I remember Hulk Hogan, Terry Bradshaw, and ALF being in those commercials in the late 1990's. ALF is the man!

I still have both my ALF dolls, from when i was a kid as well, my mother eventually killed my voice box, & I'm wondering if that's what happened to John's ALF as well LOL! I also had the pj's, bedding, electric toothbrush, book with audio tape, VHS of the cartoon, and the game on the Apple ][IE, ALF was awesome, just wish they had did a better job with the Talkshow on TVLand, cause it could have been really awesome sauce!!

i remember watching the series finale and being very pissed that it was the last episode. they shouldve made a few more episodes. the series ended on a sad note. the movie was meh at best. Season 4 was the worst. the style of direction the series was taking at the time was kinda weird and it didnt have the same magic of the first 3 seasons. my favorite season will always be season 3.

I don't want to come off ascomplaining, but every time I see one of these videos, that damn arcade game screen in the background just rolls and rolls, its really distracting. I understand why it happens, with the CRT screen not refreshing at the same time as the camera is capturing frames. You might want to think about changing up the background stuff behind you for these type of videos, it would be a lot easier to focus on you and what you're presenting. Give it some thought, thanks.

I wanted to be ALF when I was growing up, I even tried to eat my pet cat! nahh I didn't but ALF was awesome I gotta track down those DVD's hope ya do Dinosaurs sometime, if you haven't already :)
