When it comes to NES tunes. this theme is one of my all-time favorites! (Although the Famicom version is far superior!) I hope I managed to maintain the intensity and excitement that the original conveys!

The drums in the original song are amazing. Most remakes change the drums and lose appeal to me because of it. But this one nails it!

Jan Visser Not quite, the Famicom version has an extra sound chip that the NES version lacked resulting in lower quality music for the NES version in the US and Europe. For me though out of all original versions of this track it has to be the MSX version from Akumajou Dracula X: Chi No Rondo.

I know. The VCR6. But to me it sounded more like the drum has different sounds. Not different rhythms. And a bit more voices of course. Cool I'm going to listen to the MSX version now! EDIT: Can't find it. I did find the PC Engine version, which I am already familiar with. EDIT2: Aaah Vampire Killer sounds the same!
