Nested RecyclerView with Nested Realtime DB Data ( MVVM Architecture )

@@codingstuff070 I am working on an app and I am trying to add items to the database(which I did successfully through use of push function) but now since I used the push function I can't retrieve the data snapshot as a list object anymore can you please help me out? (and I have no choice other than using push function as I can't/don't want to keep track of childs from each instance of the app as a client) when i try to change the generictype indicator from List to HashMap i can't seem to get the values when i change it to map "Expected a Map while deserializing, but got a class java.util.ArrayList" and when i change it back to a list it says expected a list while deserializing but got a map obj

why are you making empty constructer

Firebase cannot figure out on its own what your constructor does, so that's why you need an empty constructor: to allow Firebase to create a new instance of the object, which it then proceeds to fill in using reflection.
