I grew up going to this church, my aunt went to their catholic school. It was a lovely lovely church. Anyone remember Father Marsh? I adored him, he was a wonderful priest. I have many nice memories of my Brooklyn days. I am so happy to see this video! Thank you!!

When I was a kid the pews surrounded the alter which sat in the center. This was back in the 1970’s.

Me, too. Why? I miss Brooklyn the way it used to be. I lived there in the 60's and hung out there every weekend in the 70's - right around the corner from King's Pizza. When me and my cousins were around 8 years old, we pulled the fire alarm on the corner and ran! Nothing happened! I think by then those old posts with the alarms you could pull were disconnected. Ah, Brooklyn! I consider it a privilege to have been born there! So many great memories!

Lol, when I moved to Jersey, I was shocked to find out the new church WASN'T in the basement!
