bata pa ako napanood ko at naririnig ko sa tv pangalan na liza macuja kala ko kng ano lng ballet dito sa pinas parang wala lng saakin non .pero ngayon napanood ko interview niya . sikat pala siya dito at sa ibang bansa.napaka simple tao walang yabang pero may napatunayan.matanda na ko im 38 yrs old na ako pero ngayon ko napanood si liza ❤

Professional dancers say that if you want to be the best dancer there is, learn ballet. Coz ballet in singing is like the classical/theatrical singing is when it comes to dancing. Ballerinas can easily dance whatever they want but hiphop dancers cannot easily learn ballet especially if they're already old and not flexible. I haven't seen Ms. Lisa Macuja dance freestyle dancing but a perfect example of a ballerina who dances modern dance is Winwyn Marquez. Ms. Macuja should become a national artist. Sya lang ang Prima Ballerina ng Pinas I believe.

I was able to watch Liza Macuja and her group in Intramuros around 1997 or so. I was then teaching at Letran and serendipitously I saw a posted information about her performance. I made it a point to watch it as I am a frustrated ballet dancer.

One of the best laugh out loud moments in my life was Liza's rendition of Ryan Cayabyab's song "Chismis" during her recital at the Meralco Theater, especially that part of the song when Ryan says, "siya...ay....na..." then a pandemonium of hilarious chatter so typical of a group of chismosas breaks out. I've been a fan ever since.
