Foreign Policy is about Power. If you view it from a Moral Stand Point or POV you won't understand a thing. US maintains sphere of influence by keeping the dollar system afloat by selling it's 'freedom' culture and supporting it's allies to protect it's economic dominance and stability. FYI. The US dollar is fake Money. It's not backed by Gold or anything of Value. This way the US can always print money to pay it's debt. So as long as more Countries use the dollar as their reserves the US remains strong economically. It's why it can sanction Powerful countries with vast resources like Russia, China etc. China maintains sphere of influence via Debt Trap Investment while Russia becoz it doesn't have economic Power maintains sphere of Influence by keeping it's former colonies weak and installing puppets to run them. But now USA is being threatened by BRICS Nations which has been convincing more countries to ditch the Dollar system for a Gold backed currency. It's why IMF is worried.

First flirt with China, get big money. Big portion goes back to China, because Chinese companies get all contracts.
