Pretty late on my behalf, but to answer your query, Julie Corletto wasn't in the best state physically (which is why she retired right after this tournament). So they wanted to keep her rested when they were play teams, like Barbados, which is a sure win and make sure that she doesn't get injured, is ready and rested for difficult games against teams such as; New Zealand, England and Jamaica.

You need to stop talking out of your rear end. These Aussie umpires don't have much understanding or experience with the style of Caribbean play. Then, there's the huge difference in the type of facilities these top tier teams have at their disposal to utilize, proper training and conditioning. These Caribbean girls train on asphalt meanwhile other teams have huge gymnasium at their disposal. In order to play at this world cup you need to qualify and clearly Barbados is here and have qualified to play of they couldn't play as you said they wouldn't be there. So do your research before you talk smack. 💅

@@shashamannejones4506 I get your point with the teams having different experiences and with the umpires but it is netball and there are rules that the umpires look for so they all are playing the same game with the same rules
