A demo of using Custom Scripts in NetBox to implement custom business logic that extends the NetBox feature set. The talk will briefly cover what Custom Scripts can do and why one would choose to use them in certain use cases. The demo will center around 2-3 use cases that are hands on.

Exciting video!! How would one get started with making scripts for netbox? I can program casual scripts with bash and some novice level ansible, but - even though it would definitely help - am I required to learn "all about" python before I can get started making small scripts for netbox?.. Python is on my to-do list of skills to attain, but the list is long and networking is my main job and I'd like to learn by making specific use-case based scripts for a start, then I'd be able to dive into more advanced python later when required.. I'm currently looking around for a "getting started with netbox scripting". Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated - Even if this comment is not seen before much later in the future, perhaps :)
