It didn't make it in the video, but the best Netflix original I've seen was Hi Score Girl. On the outside, it just seemed like it was some generic Romcom with subpar comedy and the occasional video game reference (what I thought based off the trailer and what I heard) but oh boy was I wrong. It was an incredible coming of age story filled with romance, drama and comedy, all set in the early 90s, more specifically the arcades. The whole show is heavily inspired by Street Fighter (more specifically SF2). I wasn't even that interested in fighting games before I watched the show, but it singlehandedly made me interested in fighting games. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. It may have weird animation in the beginning and weird characters/moments, but by the end of season 1, those were no longer issues in my eyes. BTW the opening and endings (of both seasons) of the show are so good, if you don't get to watch the show, I recommend you atleast check them out.

I was just watching to see where Record of Ragnarok was gonna end up 👀. I found it so disappointing so I'm really glad it ended up in B tier 😅. I'm gonna feel a bit more confident about watching the anime in A and S tier now 🙌🏾😊

@@CarlsLingoKingdom I discovered the manga a few years back on KZbin and was immediately hooked. And I thought it would be amazing if it got an anime... But the anime adaptation was so underwhelming 😭. It felt more power point presentation than action. Imagine what it could have been if it got the kind of animation that demon slayer or Naruto got?? I just feel like it was very much lacking in it's main selling point (action) 😞

Violet ever garden, cyberpunk edge runners, pluto, devil man crybaby, JoJo, my happy marriage, aggretsko All s tier I also loved ghost in the shell 2045. And hi score girl. Bubble was okay. Not seen Japan sinks, or the home husband but they were a couple that I wanted to watch.

VEG is on our list, too. Bubble was fun, but I didn't include it since it's an anime film and not a TV show. Why did you like Jojo? I found it hard to get into.

@@CarlsLingoKingdom I absolutely love JoJo, it is hard to get into for sure it has weird pacing. Tbf I tried to watch it on my own and dropped it fairly quickly, but then I watched it with some friends, in the dubbed version and it's actually hilarious. And has some wild concepts for super powers. Some of the wildest things you can think of. Each part is vastly different from one another. And season 1 is parts 1 and 2 combined. And I would say it only really picks up in part 2/ the second half of the first season. But the first part with Jonathan and dio is really important for the lore later. And I appreciate that it feels like a very retro styled anime. But it has a completely different tone to the rest of the show. But as soon as you get to Joseph's story it's just really good from there onwards. So many iconic moments that are memes across the internet. Such a fun show to talk about with others too as there's alot to unpack, with how much crazy stuff happens.
