Honestly, the attention to detail is Oscar-worthy. The spectacle and the purposeful imagery is amazing. I'd love to see this film pick up some serious international momentum. Also, Alia Bhatt knocked this performance clean out of the park for me. As a theatre major, this was an amazing watch for me, from the set to props to characterisation to how you could literally pause the film at any point and each still would tell a story.

@@darshangirase6275 So I'm half Indian...my great great grandparents were dancers who fell in love and ran away together (true story) and I spent a lot of time with my grandparents so me and my cousins grew up watching Indian films so I know how beautiful and intricate the sets, costumes and props are but something about how it was executed here transported me to the 1950s. I think the director is a visionary. Gotta agree with you.

Great work by the artists, this movie was phenomenal, the sets are literally breathtaking, it's rustic, saturated and iridescent coloured visuals are magnificent, SLB and his crew are true Magicians, also the attention to detail is really astonishing to see, I wish one day there is a big SLB's film career's museum in which his lavish sets and objects from his films are beautifully preserved for future generations to spectate his magical career, pls pls pls make it happen.

Amazing.. if you are in Bollywood, and you have not been a part of SLB project, you have not done something worth. To fit in SLB's imagination needs your acting to reach an optimum level and Alia was not herself, she was put in a zone where Kamathipura demanded Gangubai there, which made her deliver. To connect logic with filmmaking, with accurate portrayal of attires of that time, this should be atleast considered for oscars, if not for nomination!! ❤️

Looking at the hardwork put in, in the writing, creating that world through sets, people, hair, makeup, dressing, the side actors and all others who appear as part of the crowd, the casting, so many people's time and hardwork that goes into creating the entire movie....every single thought that goes into it, every single scene that they shoot, every frame of it, it is massive massive project and the director having to direct and work on every single aspect which is visible to us and ones which we as audience can't fathom of...I think the tickets that we pay for are far less for the magic and genius that we get to witness in cinemas. Awestruck ! Awesome ! Just in awe.
