I saw Scott do stand up in Wilmington, NC and loved it. So glad he's made it through all the traumas and came out to be the fabulous creature he is.

I love Scott Thompson. One of the funniest people to ever come from Canada, where many of the best comedians come from. I never knew this story. It is crazy.

Sending you all kinds of love Scott. Your comedy has been a big part of my life since I was 10 and I'm looking forward to many years more of you. I'll keep my eyes peeled when 'Buddy Cole: Live' returns to Toronto.

I love Scott but “toughen up” is a classic trauma coping mechanism which due to suppression of emotions does (as he said) manifests in other symptoms, disorders and illnesses. I’m a therapist and see this all the time. I should add that good therapy doesn’t make ppl more sensitive and weak, it helps them accept, process and move forward. There are so many children who do not receive mental health care and wind up in prison, suicide etc.

Scott, thanks for sharing your story. I've always loved your comedy. Great conversation! I wonder if Richard Simmons would come onto this show. I would love to hear that conversation.

In my personal opinion Kids In The Hall was the best sketch comedy group ever.

I like Scott, but he isn’t too scientific in his thinking. Babies and children from nurturing homes are diagnosed with cancer. The world is not only black and white. It is also gray and rainbow. Good video.
